Even GSMArena doesn't give gaurantee that the OS in nokia is Android. so be calm and wait for MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS
Nokia is the best fone ever.. is surely gonna make a comeback any how.. u know Nokia was num 1 for so may years with Symbian which doesnt support much apps.. so just think what Nokia will do with Android which supports the maximum num of apps

AnonD-29706, 07 Feb 2014Now, that's fanboyism at its best. However, a 3-mpx camera IS justifiable for the low-end pric... moreYes,it is lot better than star pro which have 2mp cam and no 3g also
AnonD-843, 07 Feb 2014when did that happen? My friend's nokia c2-01 3.1 mp doesnt say it at allCompare nokia asha 311 3.2 mp cam with micromax 5mp or samsung 3.2 mp.u will find much better result on asha than micromax or samsung.Trust me:-)
AnonD-115286, 07 Feb 2014I thought Nokia only sold the "Lumia" division which means that Nokia will not/can't... moreNope. They've sold the ENTIRE devices division, including the Asha lineup. However, in case of the Asha series, Nokia HAVE permitted Microsoft to use their name on Asha devices for a good ten years, just not with the Lumia lineup.
"Under the terms of the transaction, Microsoft has agreed to a 10 year license arrangement with Nokia to use the Nokia brand on current and subsequently developed products based on the Series 30 and Series 40 operating systems. Upon the closing of the transaction, Nokia would be restricted from licensing the Nokia brand for use in connection with mobile device sales for 30 months and from using the Nokia brand on Nokia's own mobile devices until December 31, 2015."

AnonD-57013, 07 Feb 2014What a bullshit, Nokia as usual still sleeping in previous century, please someone wake him up... moreYou must understand that this is aimed at replacing asha line of phones and will be priced even lower than a Lumia 520 so what more could u expect?
What a bullshit, Nokia as usual still sleeping in previous century, please someone wake him up..or may be they are dead..?
No problem. But plz also give flash.
AnonD-230951, 07 Feb 2014Why nokia microsoft?
Give us a real Android phone.
you mean one that lags and glitches?
and randomly shuts off?
:D
Why nokia microsoft?
Give us a real Android phone.
Many of Nokia's earlier devices were 3.2 megapixel based units including some featuring Carl Zeiss lenses and for use in Web sharing and for rapid snaps the image quality was perfectly respectable. Other manufacturers such as Sony Ericsson produced classic units such as the award winning K800i and these were also using 3.2 mega pixel sensors.
Tim Crook, 07 Feb 20143MP camera? from Nokia?
Oh c'mon, that BS won't sell.
Your not Apple.
We can sell 1millio... moreforget that even low end phones in 2005 had auto focus this is fixed focus just like their last crappy symbian phones
personally best symbian was uiq but it barely got used s60 from nokia just killed it despite uiq being 1st symbian only cause it was every 2nd nokia
Anonymous, 07 Feb 2014man it is simple if it is what the specs are, nokia is going to place it below $100 similar to... moreTrue I totally agree. let people decide.
AnonD-29706, 07 Feb 20141) No device division anymore (sold to Microsoft).
2) An agreement with Microsoft to not make... moreI thought Nokia only sold the "Lumia" division which means that Nokia will not/can't use Android on the Lumia lineup.
But Asha lineup is still belongs to Nokia, not Microsoft, that's why this rumored Normandy is rumored came under Asha lineup instead of Lumia lineup
Muthu, 07 Feb 2014I think terming this phone as crap is justified if 3MP camera and jelly bean 4.1 as OS. I was ... moreJustified? The phone hasn't been released yet, but you feel JUSTIFIED in saying it's crap? Not low-tier, not entry-level, but CRAP. Wow. Inflated ego much?
Guys this is just the initial step into android market......
Soon Nokia is going to regain its no. 1 position
man it is simple if it is what the specs are, nokia is going to place it below $100 similar to current asha 501 to 503 line up and will decide then whether they sell well using asha or this kind of android? so let them experiment, and let them do what their plan is, may be after this some other high spec can be scene, but first let this device come out, secondly, entry level phones from samsung are crap, so Nokia might be willing to know the interest of people in this segment for Nokia droid phone, that will be able to decide a lot of things for Nokia, still the deal is not final , let us see, what happens next
