Wrong. Ask any woman and she'll tell you by dropping the 'm' in Symbian, women can't get better than a Sybian.
aah Symbian. I used Symbian on X3,5228 and 700 (Zeta). They discontinued it but still greater platform than WP.
I had used many Nokia's physical, qwerty and touch phones with Symbian Os. I love Symbian Os. My present phone is Nokia 808...

BlackBerry 10 is 10 times better than Symbian Ever was.
Is at least at the same level with Ios, android or Wp.
Also Nokia X6 32 GB storage in 2009. Thats a farely big one even now, but back then it was the same if some manufacturer were to suddenly put around 120 GB storage in a phone. It felt like, so huge storage, it would take years to fill.

Can you maintain and support the entire operating expense of an OS which bleeds money? I don't think so. Sorry Nokia fanboy.
i'm lucky that i'm still using 808 along with iphone, till today...yet,
Symbian was a great OS, with potential; as it always improved year on year, after releasing Symbian^3. But that was in 2010, and it died shortly after.
I still can't believe we're talking about it, since majority of users moved to iOS or Android; and most haven't looked back, or don't even realise they had a Symbian smartphone.
Still, I'm not hating on the platform. Why would I? I loved it too.
I'm always saddened when I'm reminded of Nokias decision to drop symbian and meego in favour of windows phone... Still rockin an 808 and I luv it. Beats WinPhone hands down except for the screen size

Ios and android surpassed symbian because of lack of features, apps and poor touchscreen support. Not because of restrictions.
I still have the Nokia N8 with me & it is a very good phone. It kinda feels like a different version of Android, you know placing shortcuts for apps, but no widgets. The 12mp camera is pretty good for an old phone. Waiting for gsm arena to do a whole review on the e-series & point out the 4.0 inch screen on the e6 is nothing to brag about on the iPhone 5(s).
