Whatever people told useful or useless HD tech in mobile,i'll give two thumbs up for samsung..if acme fail to gain success due to too new and power hungry of HD tech,next acme successor will have better improvement from acme..coz i don't want mobile tech. stuck on vga 30fps,tv-out,wifi etc..
Btw 40 mins of hd rec is more than enough for me..
I believe other vendor like nokia,lg,se,moto will follow samsung to make HD capability fone
Hope acme has hd res screen..and improved battery capacity
And i'll buy acme coz i have aquos hd lcd 720p 42inch..and in my country (emerging country in asia) hd lcd price now just half price of a year ago..and it's not expensive anymore,much2 electronic consumer like sony,samsung,lg,sharp stop tube tv production n lcd hd tv now become mass production...

If the screen resolution on i8910 is good then pictures and videos will at least look clear. HD could suck up more battery power!

It may sound like an alien, old fashioned idea but it is not always necessary to involve absent friends in every aspect of your social life.
Besides they can always buy the DVD, which no doubt will be in HD.

It is something to be used occasionally, no doubt lower quality formats will also be supported and batteries can be replaced.
We don't even know the battery specs yet or what power saving functions the CPU will have.
I know one thing it should work well with Samsung TV's with native DIVX support.

no point in getting it
