It's rumoured that Samsung, who released the world's first 8MP caameraphone - the i8510, are set to present the world's first 12 MP cameraphone, later this month, at the Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona, Spain, between the dates of 16th and 19th of February. In terms of technical specifications of the device, currently, there are none known, though, there won't be long to wait. It's being touted that Samsung want to begin mass production of this device by the end of this month, with it being initially launched in Europe, with other regions to follow.
a great fleet workforce phone for getting work done quickly and efficiently
More pictures and info here:
It looks like only 1 LED flash (as apposed to dual on the INNOV8) unfortunately though AMOLED screen (like the i7110) looks good too - hopefully the 720p recorded video isn't let down by low bit rates causing macroblocking.
superfone.i can visualize this fone beating the heck out of nokia symbians at its game.ride on samsung!
If this mobile is going to record video in HD its going to eat up memory. Is 16gb going to be enough? Memory card slot anyone?
can't wait to get my hands on this one
really excited to get my hands on it

indra, 07 Feb 2009i have x1, the x1 is great but i8910 is also great maybe in 2009...
it will be a great phone ... moreThe HDMI output on this phone is meant to handle the HD video and 8 Mp photos. The phone's screen is only used to preview this stuff.
If one expects Samsung to cram pixel densitites of 1280 x 720 (HD video) or 8Mp (full sensor photos) into a 3.8" display, it's not going to happen - the display technology is just not there yet. Quite frankly, I think we'll be lucky to see WVGA (800x480) on this phone.
If one wants a full HD display, one will need to plug a HDMI cable into the phone, and connect it to fullsized HD LCD or Plasma display.
this phone will be the perfect phone, but it haven't xenon flash, and only zoom x9,without optical zoom...
no comment about SAMSUNG!
they like to take advantage
past year 2004-2007 they just out a few number-1 or 2 of symbian phone in A YEAR
now the success of N95 & 5800XM they keep announce a lot of symbian phone
so, i NO COMMENT ABOUT THIS COMPANY
