M8 for sure you are the best this year
Waiting for the change To the m8
I hope they go back to using Audience's Earsmart noise cancellation chip, for noise cancellation in calls. That's what HTC used to use. Then they switched to Qualcomm's Fluence, which is vastly inferior. The HTC One was a big step down from the HTC One X in terms of call quality.
For some reason only Samsung regularly uses Audience's noise cancellation now. I don't like Samsung phones, but I care about call quality and when there is one solution that is way better than everything else out there, there's no excuse for not putting it in a flagship phone.
Strangely even Apple dropped the Audience chip from the iPhone 5 (it was in the 4), for an in-house noise cancellation solution. The iPhone 5 totally sucks compared to 4, in terms of noise cancellation.
As it is, my Nexus One (first phone to have the Audience chip), had way better call quality than any subsequent phone I've had (currently using the Nexus 4). It's just weird, to have such good technology and yet have most major flagship phones going backwards, in terms of call quality.
I really want the HTC One 2 to be great. But if it has crappy noise cancellation, it's going to be hard justify it. I might have to finally get a fuggly Samsung phone.
AnonD-221755, 12 Feb 2014so? its not like the phones are getting smaller...
8 years ago it was possible to put a xenon... moreIts not the xenon bulb that takes up lots of space.
Well, it does, but not as much as the capacitor set that is needed to fire it.
I will go for it as soon as it launch.......if the screen goes more than 5 inch i will go with xperia ZL....comments pls
[deleted post]DLSR > Phone Camera
Put your phone against a 40 MP DSLR with a huge range of focus (Apeture) and see how good your phone actually does in quality.
Checkmate.
I hope that the new htc models will have the same great headphones amplifiers like htc one max, even if they haven't beats audio logo. Htc one max without beats audio still sounds better than any phone, even better than ipads
Damn on screen buttons.. i hate it.. never think htc impliment this.. damn
people saying this is same as HTC one, dudes, it has 3 beautiful capacitive on screen buttons, with no logo upfront, edge to edge display, i don't know about SD slot, but if it'll have at least 3.200 mAH battery would be awesome.
same old sht .. blee htc rip
if the second camera was moved below the first and the front senors put back to where they originally were then this thing would be damn sexy.
Its not codenamed, in Chinese HTC One is Still known has M7 so it M8 can be newer model
Yeah ... The same as HTC One . If I have the HTC One , if I have the M8 same phone ... Where is the new HTC Sense 6 they promised that will come with HTC One 2 ? They also promised that phone will have a micro SD slot and maybe a removeble battery . I have the HTC One but this shit with non removeble is a big minus !! I am not desperate and crazy like 99% of the users that use a phone .I prefer more a battery and a micro SD slot !! If I wan't pictures I will make them with my DSLR camera not with a phone !!
Mo, 12 Feb 2014They literally just need to add a removable battery and/or sd card and I'll be sold... Honestl... moreAgreed!
This looks legit...edge to edge display baby!
gam30toronto, 12 Feb 2014looks the same as HTC one, why bother?Well...from a design standpoint if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?
I Love my HTC one. Hope this one will be better in terms of specs and features. Then I will think of going for this one. :)
AnonD-221755, 12 Feb 2014so? its not like the phones are getting smaller... 8 years ago it was possible to put a xenon... morei don't think the xenon led is that big, i think it's the shutter/charger is large. the lumia is was talking about is not that old, 928 and 1020, bricks! phones are not getting smaller as in what? because be sure they're looking for thinner alternatives.
onex, 12 Feb 2014the xenon flash module uses more space...look at the bulky nokia lumia whateverso? its not like the phones are getting smaller...
8 years ago it was possible to put a xenon flash into a phone. and in 8 years they were not able to develop a flash which has some pop? I understand if the old ones were to large, but are they still that large?
i hope to god half of you guys are not samsung fan boyz because i may have just seen at least 3 majorly hypocritical statements. Nokia lumia - all look the same. Samsung - all look the same. Apple - all look the same etc. HTC has been one of the only manufacturers to keep asthetics different on each phone. Besides all that, THE HTC ONE IS POSSIBLY ONE OF THE BEST LOOKING HANDSETS ON THE MARKET
