FM Radio is a FM receiver so that the device can receive FM radio stations to listen.
FM transmitter transmit FM signals out for any receiver to pickup. One such application is that if the device has FM transmitter, you could be playing some songs on the device, and you transmit the audio through the FM transmitter. If you are in a car, you could turn on your car radio and tune to the frequency the device is transmitting. There.. you have the song playing over your car audio from your device (mobile phone) without wires required.

Nice Smartphone & i like Smartphone with Symbian OS. but i don't like full touchscreen.. i need QWERTY keyboard because i don't like virtual QWERTY. hope Samsung release Smartphone with Touchscreen , QWERTY keyboard on Candybar design , large screen & off course Symbian OS.

but the N Gage games i saw is not enough they need more developers for ideas and i have alot for the N97,5800Xm cause of the stylus which is a big advantage with gaming
trust me i have a Nintendo DS and it's retarded how many game they have that require the stylus

5800 is not out there to be a beast, Samsung's i8910 is.
Will you really rather spend more than twice as much as the 5800 just to get the special 720p recording?
I won't disagree that this is truly a beast of a phone, but two phones must be in the same class to take away potential consumers.
Think about it, and i'm sure it will all make sense.
