well about time , i think my k850i aint going to be very happy mind it looks like when this comes out that hes going to have to go into retirement lol .
looks a very polished handset with some nice specs to follow suite.
and please dont knock sony for there progress i mean lets be fair that the other offerings aint all that .
looking forward to it coming out now.

I used to be a Sony Ericson fan. Now, I am going to Samsung or another manufacturer until SE does what the fans want.

Looks great as usual as S E does but hopefuly that Batterie can makes the phone stand by for sometimes considerably long. Would like to have one for trial

Sony Ericsson had to release a better phone than the C905 which they rushed out to quick thinking they would show Nokia Up,but turned out a big mistake from them ,they better start releasing more reliable phones this year Sony Ericsson as they will trail Samsung an Nokia alot ,an Sony an Ericsson could end up spliting up

As always from our friends at SE, a very very nice looking phone. SE and Apple are in a class of their own when it comes to design.
The specs aren't top of the line but I guess it's enough for a lot of people.

now there off it so the other companies envy this forte of SE and made plenty of touch phones for convenience i think...
but i still love the old good days of sliders and candy bars its simply and inelegantly cool...
dont you miss your keypads...
this hikaru thing is a great work of sony only if they had released it earlier...
i would suggest SE to make a X1 Walkman version + 8/16 GB internal memory, 8 MP cam at 30fps at highest resolution of 16m TFT screen and equipped with wifi, edge, 3g GPRS... isn't it interesting...
as for hikaru i really appreciate this phone Walkman 4.0 is to watch for... nothing beats the interface of a Walkman fone eye candy and very user friendly...

samsung beat?
nokia express music?
SE= compete since you already death touch screens
samsung= touch and touch phones come on what else? copied s60?
LG= please be more interesting
nokia= price? design? s60 so long ago
iphone= come on what else can you do?
motorola= what happened you supposed to be the one that pioneered in good design and great features... your so so left behind

Good job SE! BUT…!
This phone has everything from the top of the range mobile phone can have. Quality metal case, 8MP…. It is a very well done phone!
BUT!
SE fans were saying that when Hikaru will came out it will blow away everything else. It is a shame on those fans because this phone is excellent but it will not blow away the newcomer phones like Hitachi, the new LG or even the iPhone in some aspects.
If this phone would have a touch screen with a flawless interface like the iPhone does, an ApStore and all what it has now… THAN it would blow everything away!
This way it is just a very good phone, top of its range.
God job SE! But nothing revolutionary.
