SEE HOW IT TURNS OUT?? Large bezels, oversized front.
Rule one of any designing.. do not ask the general public. People do not know what they want.
I think a lot of people here are FRUSTRATED mobile phone designer. I would suggest that they should sell their ideas to mobile phones manufacturer and earn instead a wasting time bashing one's ideas.
Markobarko, 19 Feb 2014Well still that big wasted space with HTC logo.
Jesus, they never learn.
I like HTC, but... moreYeah, what's up with those bezels? They don't look smaller than the current HTC One at all. And they certainly are not on a par with the best current Android phones.
Between the bezels and the huge amount of wasted space taking up by the HTC logo, this is going to be a huge phone. The trend has been to fit larger screens in similarly sized or smaller phones (Nexus 5, Galaxy 4, LG G2). Is HTC's engineering getting worse?

Either use the space for capacitive buttons (which I prefer--the onscreen buttons in Android are a waste of space). Or use the space for a bigger screen. Or get rid of the space to make the phone smaller. As it is, with the logo there requiring a lot of extra space for no functional purpose, HTC has chosen the worst of all worlds.

Theh speakers best in class, front facing, stereo speakers are one of the main points of this phone. If you won'd like that, then get a different phone, because you're completely missing the point.
The speakers are a waste of space, this would be a better phone if HTC could make it a bit smaller and retain the screen size.

I think what we are seeing here is not the htc one 2014 but may be the htc one mini 2014. Because if you open htc mini pictures and this side by side you can see a lot of resemblance. Previous htc one had 4.7 inch screen where mini was only 4.3" so the difference was only 4". Now if the new htc one is going to be 5" or more then the mini 2014 should be 4.5 or may be 4.7". So to me the screen size look smaller then 5" on this new leak pics and so I believe this could be and hopefully not the htc one successor. But you never know because financially htc is not doing very well and redesigning the phone cost a lot I'm sure. So no matter what , I have been htc supporter in good times and still support htc in there bad times. I'm buying htc one 2014 ( good or bad ) period !
Well knowing HTC last year I believe they gave shots of the One (m7) which turned out to be fake so the probably are just doing this to psych us like last year who knows. Guess all we can do is wait for MWC
Huge disappointment, I won't be surprised when HTC will perish, with that gigantic annoying HTC logo on the front and disappointing battery I will never buy HTC flagship, ever.
the only way this is going to work is if the navigation buttons are hidden when the keyboard is out. if not then the typing is really awkward (htc one with nav buttons wasn't fun).
