Last year was all about specs and gimmicks, this years is apparently all about the "customer". Get stuffed, Samsung follows any trend as long as it thinks it's profitable.
Maybe now people start to realise it.
Apple can do both ways to unlock your phone This S5 you need to swipe it straight... can't use the side of your finger...
Why a rush to update phones 2 times a year samsung spend more time in developing a better phome. I have note 3 its best phone ever.
AnonD-77357, 24 Feb 2014Sammy! go home, you're drunk!
Come back with something new this time!
Meanwhile, I'll pay wi... moreYou are right....
S5 is flop n fail in hardware as compared with sony z2
I love to swtich from galaxy S series to sony z2
Totally disappointed Samsung....!!
All that extra height, width and weight just for dust and waterproofing. REALLY? I'm sure 98%of people would rather a smaller, lighter phone. Personally, If I was looking at a phone the LG G2 would be up near the top now....
That said, the note 3 is still unbeatable for my uses (big screen, pocketable with lots of features and power)
Note2 owner here. I'm a little bit disapointed with Sd800 and 2gigs of ram, but I like ip67 certification and the the new icons. (Finally)
I see a lot of negative comments here, but you must realize that average user doesn't care about procesor or ram or ppi and most of us who watched unpacked are not average users. So I can say that S5 will probably sell in dozens of millions, probably with sales second only to iphone.
And for those of you jumping to Sony or Lg I say good luck with updates.
Confession-1: I mistook GS5 early and post a crappy comment.
Confession-2: I'm gona buy it. Since it has 431ppi and and a large display, better battery life and of course IP67 Dust & Water Resistant. + finger print scanner as well as Heart-rate monitor. and and and.....16MP camera what else I want :) ?
Hopefully we can put our trust in the Galaxy Note 4 this year, as we all lost hope for Galaxy S Series. Especially in the last year, the Galaxy S series doesn't really seem like a flagship anymore, it seems as it is moving to the Galaxy Note series, as it can do more. After seeing this, I much rather keep my GS4. Samsung also sealed their doom but putting the fingerprint sensor in the GS5. They wont stay out of court for this one. They should have gone with a retinal scanner. Theres not even a significant design change or screen bump. They will surely lose majority of their potential customers by this phone... I guarantee, majority of people are going to wait for the GN4 or get the GS4. Way to go Samsung.... now whos copying who in terms of business practices?????
The golden version is the most ridiculous phone I have seen since the htc phone with facebook button!
This is an ugly true.those company like apple or samsung in this case are playing us.the just change the later and number and the fool people like us will still spend money for those krap.they probably have to many thinks to show but why can not win some easy money.this is big cheating.this is global
first - The feel is still rubber and plastic (no class or quality feeling like iphone)
second - lack innovation (fingerprint reader. seriously why would i want to swipe my finger when just a touch on the iphone gets me through)
third - if they are "trying" to copy their rival "iphone" then atleast get a new exciting OS.
the phone will demand a high price when newly launched and then realise they cant cover market so drop the prices so everyone can buy it and every xyz carrys it. Like all its previous versions.
Frankly waste of money
