GSMArena please enjoy Spain you are welcome. Ireally like like Ultratouch. Could you write a review between the different GPS system of Nokia, Samsung and Sony-Ericsson? Which one does its work better? thaks. SMILE YOU ARE IN SPAIN!!!
Samsung i8910 Omnia HD & M7600 music-phones are much more BETTER ,what Nokia 5800 XM!.8Mpix camera,...!. :)
Hope samsung learn from 5800xm problem..
Symbian touch ui still not as smooth/responsive as iphone n winmo
Even i can say samsung touchwiz like s8300 or f480 is d best touch ui..it's lightning fast, and intuitive but sadly it's non smartfone
I recognise the lag in 5800 coz underpowered cpu
Hope samsung give faster cpu
Just one word - AMAZING!!!!!
Just wishing it had a Good Battery life and an AMOLED screen would always be welcomed. Man just 24hrs for WMC to start...... :-)
khan ji, 15 Feb 2009but it can hit more if it run on windows platform like omniaSymbian still better , better & better than WinMo. sorry but that's true
nokia is in a big big trouble. nasty times for nokia. samsung already have 4 models with 8 megapixel. omnia hd will be hard to catch because of hd recording..my god samsung, are you mad?? i love you
please make Smartphone with Symbian OS , touchscreen , large screen & qwerty keyboard on candybar design. thank's
techn fanatic: i dont agree with u on the part of how the omnia hd is nothing new, however i will agree with u having a full qwerty keyboard is better as such with the n97. The omnia hd is a beast of a phone and u cant really say its nothing new when u can record in hd and it has an hdmi port on the device. Though the phone has not been released yet i can only imagine what kind of multimedia capabilities it will have and how the features of hd will come in to play by ehancing the viewer's performance on that handset. If we're lucky we might be lookin at phone that could project videos on a 720p screen thats the size of 3.8 inches. Not to mention the hdmi port technology which could easily "out trend" tv output options for other handsets and quite possibly introduce new methods of projecting hd video and audio from handset to tv, pc etc...
danny X, 15 Feb 2009I'm just wondering why Nokia lets Samsung use it's Symbian. as far as I know Nokia owns 99.99%... moreSymbian is an operating system company, it sells operating systems to licensees, like Microsoft with Windows.
Nokia bought the shares of the company and they have to honour the terms of the licence arrangements which were made before.
Nokia's policy has always been that Symbian should be an 'open' OS, so companies like Sameung, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi, Sharp etc are free to do whatever they want with it.
Anonymous, 15 Feb 2009you all are not a professional... Even SE hasnt announced their highend phone yet but you alr... moreI've been hearing the same thing for the past 2yrs. Wait for SE they "might" have this or that. But i am sick of waiting for SE.
i dont think it the HD will compete with N97 simply cuz one has a QWERTY and the other one dont ... For me i'd go for the QWERTY ... Beat DJ is going to be a good alterntive for 5800 XM ... The ultra touch is nice but its nothing new !! ...
Who agrees ??
you all are not a professional...
Even SE hasnt announced their highend phone yet but you already made bad comments to SE...
i know this phone is good but dont be blind!!!
hold your emotion!!
too early to be happy
Anonymous, 15 Feb 2009LOL SE releasing a high end phone? Unless they adopt android they got no chance.Haha, se with android? Maybe they want to do something stupid again like buying symbian uiq with lack of developers, and then the os is ruined again ^^
wew, this products gonna be a heaviest rival to n97 since the difference only the camera, design & memory...
But I prefer memory rather than camera, since uploading higher res of images is absorb bandwith too much...
Anyway, anyone knows the screen res? WVGA? Or really HD?
I'm just wondering why Nokia lets Samsung use it's Symbian. as far as I know Nokia owns 99.99% of Symbian. so why does it let Samsung use it? I think Nokia has gone crazy.
