EE doing it again, let the others play catch up.... EE have something like 70% of the UK population covered in 4G, awesome achievement. On top of this, it is being rolled out to rural areas as well, look at Carlisle for this. Other Networks are gonna struggle to keep up with EE on the 4G side of things, EE not only have the biggest network but the most spectrum available for the roll out of 4G which will mean when everyone is using the 4G data services it wont be slow and unreliable due to the amount of spectrum they have.
EE whats the point of rolling out 4.5G when most of the country is strugglimg with 3G speeds slow and dropped calls n data nevermind missing out on 4G also sort out one thing first make that right then move on
UHUHUHU. I'll stick with my unlimited but still very fast HSDPA 3.5G. Only takes a few seconds for videos to buffer at the start of the video then everything goes smoothly. I would rather be able to have unlimited data and have freedom than have very limited day which is very fast, of which I find redundant as I'm already used to a fast service already with HSDPA.
To Clear things, 4G in not Unlimited for any UK Network the max is 50GB for private users! 3G is the only one thhat do unlimited data which goes for T-Mobile, 3 & Virgin media. EE is the fastest and got the most cities covered and is a year ahead of 02 & Vodafone regarding 4g. Compare this on EE's website how many cities are covered.
Now you can use up your small amount of usage you get in 1/2 the time!
Ahsan, 06 Mar 2014here in Pakistan we haven't got 3G yet , and they are announcing LTE+ .... jelousIn India, we have 4G. Enjoying it like anything! :)

three UK is the way to go now am paying £15 a month for 2k mins 5k text and all-you-can-eat 4G/3G data
here in Pakistan we haven't got 3G yet , and they are announcing LTE+ ....
AnonD-43136, 06 Mar 2014And im also with three and struggle to get 0.5mbs download - three suck - ive even had the pas... moreyou get 0.5 mbps cause your phone hasnt switched o 4g. is it even capableof 4g ? what phone is it ? cause my nexus 5 had 0.5mbps for a few days and then switched to 4g and had 19 down 8 up speeds.
AnonD-8044, 05 Mar 2014Well I get 19.2 Mb/s on Three UK network HSDPA so why the need for 4g why not Three spend mone... morethree rullz. they've had a plan to switch fom 3/3.5 g to 4 g without any modification to prices. And just recently i asit happen. I got my nexus 5 used it for a few days still on h+ or what ever icon it had on the status ar and then jst over night it changed to 4g and staied that way. and i tested it and had 18 mbps download and 9 mbps upload.
so thats why you too have 19mbps download, cause its already switched to 4g with out the pice hike(read extortion cough cough EE i'm looking at you).
so now 3 has 4g with unlimited data. epic !
What is the point of calling a technology "Long Term Evolution" (the LONG TERM being the key factor) if they're just gonna make a minor advancement (ahem, the Evolution part!) and start calling it Advanced for no reason? Stick to the pure "LTE" name for f***s sake, we're not really getting anything out of your misplaced creativity! LTE-A is essentially nothing more than a bit faster LTE isn't it? Do we really need to confuse people even further? End of rant.
EE never again. ipad have one bar signal in most dorset area. mobile phone is the same, struggling to make phone calls. In bigger cities like London maybe you are fine, as soon as you hit outside the big cities, its useless. paying £36/month ipad and £36/month with mobile phone that I cant bleeping use! don't believe its everything everywhere. Ive warned you
