People grow up with comments like ohhh insurance claim to pay apple of, or overheating its pathetic. Im no fanboy of any phone maker i prefer samsung but have an iphone which is my business not yours. This is a bad time for Samsung or any company for that matter.

adeeb, 10 Mar 2014they are claiming 1 billion, simply to get the money from insurance companies...,Okay , so loosing a billion dollar factory stock to claim 1B to apple ? You mean company is at no loss of 1 billion stock burnt inside?
Lets say insrnce gives 1billion . So lets think samsung took that 1 billion and gave it to apple. Now what about the 1billion loss of products inside ? Samsung anyhow loses one billion. It must be no such insurance claiming plans.

Nor samsung ran out of stock in market yet unless they are planning for somthing improved version of that discontinued stock.

[deleted post]Everybody cares about Galaxy smartphones and and they have there own capabilities which makes them ahead of other phone manufacturers.
Something which other companies dont offer or cant offer.
No doubt there are still few peoples who are in dark about that copy case thing.
Patents are not what you think . Patents are sometimes the race of launching sooner than another manufacture. While there works are same only.. every phone can call thats the patent which is general. Just there design of making that calling thing work is different among all manufacturers. Apple seems to choose for common patent cases against samsung which is not eligable. But somehow, large companies have their demands fullfilled. No offense. But Samsung is no copy cat which still few people have in their mind.

Shamesung being ashamed by the lukewarm reception to the GS5, deliberately torched the factory to constrain the supplies so that it looks like the GS5 is in demand. GS5 was not exactly going to set the sales on fire, it going to be a flop, and even with the reduced supplies, there will still be warehouses full of stock.

The truth is that, Samsung seeing that they won't be selling enough Galaxy S5, they torched the factory so that they can artificially constrain the supply and claim that the S5's supplies can't meet the demand.

Maybe apple paid people to set fire to the samsung factory. How can there factory go up in smoke?.

Maybe north Korean government was involved because Samsung wouldn't give them free Samsung galaxy s5's.

Complete sabotage.
