AnonD-242927, 11 Mar 2014Wake up - it DOES support Micro SD cards. HTC have listened. It was the biggest issue for me -... moreYou and six other people want this feature. That's about it. Don't expect to see it. It's irrelevant to the vast majority of users.
Low Marketing Budget!!?? Who cares??? This clearly indicates why nowadays people buy phones only by seeing ads... HTC is one of the best manufacturers in the game. Their products speak for the company!!
My love Htc Just rock

"LMAO. Cameraphones had "Ultrapixels" longggg ago, even before the iPhone came out. HTC's innovation is in giving a sh!tty idea a fancy marketing name"
I am happy to be corrected if you can give me some specific examples.
Just because you don't like their fancy marketing names, doesn't mean the feature sucks! I mean I HATE the 'Boom Sound' name for their speaker technology, but that WAS an innovation - Stereo speakers, front facing, and incredibly powerful and clarity. @MF I am looking forward to your example of a phone with better sound/speaker technology...
MF, 11 Mar 2014Wrong. HTC One does not have a "larger sensor". Try again.Clearly larger 'Pixel' was what was meant, not sensor.
Gizmodo did a piece last year on the ultrapixel vs the normal pixel.
"When HTC first showed the world the One last month, it touted the merits of the camera's larger "UltraPixels". Theory says that larger pixels could produce better images than the competition. In practice? We're pretty damned impressed.
We compared the HTC One's camera to the cameras on the Nokia Lumia 920 and Apple iPhone 5, which were the top cameras in our recent smartphone camera battlemodo. We tested the camera in low-light both with and without flash, as well as in daylight. The photos in this test are taken from identical spots in every case, so any differences in the framing of the images is because of slight differences each camera's field-of-view. In almost every situation the HTC One's camera performed above our expectations—and above its competitors."

If anything that's the area where they can't compete with Samsung and Apple. Their marketing is low key, low budget and arguably not as effective as the big boys. Why is that? Samsung spent an unbelievable $14 Billion in 2013 alone on Marketing! Yes, $14 Billion.
AnonD-233508, 11 Mar 2014I agree that the htc logo on the bottom is a waste of space. Why not turn the f****** HTC logo... moreHere here! :)
Antonio, 11 Mar 2014right, just marketing buff. And still no user replaceable battery, no microsd... Wake up - it DOES support Micro SD cards. HTC have listened. It was the biggest issue for me - I like to carry lots of media as I am not always within wireless of network signal range. Now I can carry 64Gb spare.
The battery is not swapable because it's buried within the internals, within the solid metal body. Why is it a problem? You can carry around your Samsung S5 spare battery and I'll carry my external emergency battery to top up the charge if i need to. What's the difference? I get 2.5 full charges from my small external battery. And I prefer the solid build of the One to the removable, flimsy, plastic case.

Anonymous, 11 Mar 2014your very wrong! The truth hurts, doesn't it?
AnonD-243037, 11 Mar 2014No. The One and One Mini's camera is a larger sensor, meaning it aims for better pixel quality... moreWrong. HTC One does not have a "larger sensor". Try again.
Didn't anybody see the PRICE at the end? $760 is no joke, so they better cram in as many features as they possibly can.
Samsung Insider, 11 Mar 2014I'm more interested in camera resolution. If it's at least 8 MP then I'm fine. I have an HTC One and the 4 ultrapixel camera gives you 8mp quality.
It is in low light where you'll see a great difference. If you want a phone because of the high quality camera on every condition go get a Lumia.
MF, 11 Mar 2014"very definition of innovation"?????
LMAO. Cameraphones had "Ultrapixels&quo... moreNo. The One and One Mini's camera is a larger sensor, meaning it aims for better pixel quality and better performance in low/harsh light, compared to the usual "a higher number is better"
The main reason's they would've gone with a lower resolution camera [aside from the primary one above] is to keep the phone [even a little] more cost-effective, and that 4MP photo's can effectively be printed up to A4 without degradation.
Antonio, 11 Mar 2014right, just marketing buff. And still no user replaceable battery, no microsd... It does have micro sd ,do your homework
