Looks like Nokia is really in trouble! I was hoping that they come up with something competitive compared to other manufacturers high end phones, but right now I am very disappointed! This pathetic excuse of a phone is a disgrace! First of all there is the two year old design, then the cheap plastic used, no touch screen…. Common Nokia! You can’t even compete with the iPhone not with SE, Samsung and LG right now!
I am very disappointed! Nokia is really going down!

Nokia Screwed logic will confuse customer!!!!
Hi all,
I've seen the Nokia E75 & E55 specs at Nokia developer forum. The Nokia E55 will use the NEW 600MHz CPU... Yipiiieeee.... BUT the Flagship nokia E75 will use the old 369MHz CPU.
I really confused by nokia Logic. User who were willing to spent more money will buy the OLD & SLOW CPU, but user who spent less money got the FAST & BRAND NEW CPU.
Am I the only one that feel this is awkward?
Please Nokia.... PLEASE.... Don't use 369MHz CPU on your E75.

It's the first and only cameraphone to offer variable aperture values and a 28mm wide angle lens.
The first benefit of the variable aperture (going through F2.4/F3.2/F4.8) is that at F2.4 the camera has more light to work with as compared to the standard F2.8 value of all cameraphones we've seen. The second benefit is that when there's enough light and the aperture closes a bit (F3.2/F4.8) the resulting images are usually sharper.

its obvious, this is the best "REAL" camera phone to date and not a "CONCEPT" phone like Idou (due 2010) c",
samsung, se, etc fans will hate this phone because its the best their is at the moment.
for those who hate the design of this phone, please read the comments made by techies who tried it in wmc barcelona. they "Glorify" the phones design and robustness.

what the hell! whenever people GSMArena posts an article about leaked/announced nokia phones, people seem to whine about its design and stuff and yadda yadda.
what the hell is wrong with you all? if you hate the phone so much then go to the next article. personally i'm not a nokia fan but i'm sick of people saying their mottos: 'Nokia Sucks' or 'SE is cr4p' or whatever.

Do they really care if the phone is 1100 or 1108 or 1208 or whatever model number which even the company's own staff seems to lose track of?
Then the overall quality on the "top of the line" handsets are also rather disappointing....with many of them made with cheapy plastics, which are subject to fading paint. Not to mention other quality issues like the unstable volume (got so serious to be published on newspaper...but the company still refused to recall the whole batch).
iphone can't perform some functions, though I was "told" the functions are missing BEFORE I made the purchase, and I asked my wife if she really wanted it, and she agreed.
I doubt the almighty company would ever dare to tell its customers BEFORE they made their purchase that the earpiece volume is unstable or the paint would come off in 3 months...

Sounds like more of a downgrade from the N82. 8MP is useless if the pictures are overly compressed and no xenon flash...

I've been using nokia ever since i know how to use a handphone..
im very impressed with their performance all these years, never let me down at all.
but recently im very disappointed with Nokia newer product.. other manufacturers really moving forward,as SE tried so hard to bark up. even samsung and Lg really start producing good phone.
i loved my N82 so much, but seems like it will be my last phone from nokia.. :(

Seems a lot of people expect everyone to buy a $700-800 phone with 3.5 inch HD touch screen,etc etc etc.... if you want that get a N97 or Idou or experia or Omnia HD.
This is a MID RANGE PHONE and personally it has awesome features, build quality should be better than the N85 and will be an affordable price for those that dont need the greatest.
Good on nokia for updating an already popular N85 and making it better.
Interesting to see there are nearly 60000 hits on the N86 in under 2 days... nokia would be loving it despite a few repeat posters bagging the phone.

Anonymous, 18 Feb 2009Don't worry, the almighty brand is focusing so much on packing every tech available into its l... morenah..im gonna have to disagree with that..basic is what nokia is all about..thats why its a very user friendly phone.loudspeaker function is not basic.that may be a prob for 5800 but the phone still is better than the iphone.now, iphone is the phone that do not have the basics..cant even forward msgs and pics..im not a nokia fan, but i have to give nokia credit for being very "easy-to-use". the only prob with nokia is that they dont want competing brands like samsung and se to steal the spot light from them.that is why they keep on releasing phone units in different series(Nseries, Eseries, Xpressmusic) to keep people thinking that they have the LATEST models up to date.its like nokia saying "we are always updated". although they have been outside the track if we are going to talk about 8mp models.samsung was already on the finish line long before SE even started.but the reason why samsung made an 8mp unit is because nokia made such a pressure in the 5mp line.they released so many 5mp phones to compete with other 5mp phone units.now that they have a 5mp unit..lets see if the innov8 can still boast its v8 engine..this will really be a good match-up..
