i think it might be the same as galaxy s duos 2 with improved performance and android kitkat.. If under 10k i'm definitely going to buy this one
Confirmed. It will have the same design as most of the Galaxy phones.
AnonD-115981, 18 Mar 2014Oh that means samsung is clearing the old stock of galaxy s screen (if it's amoled) or galaxy ... moreYou may be right. And if you are it means those parts are not going to waist...So not a bad thing really.
Oh that means samsung is clearing the old stock of galaxy s screen (if it's amoled) or galaxy sl (if it's lcd), battery, probably camera and galaxy s2+ chipset (broadcom chipset used in s2+).. Lolz samsung is very good at selling old stock by marketing it using new names..
Harry, 18 Mar 2014Why only 512 MB RAM. Why can't manufacturer's like Samsung give more RAM when they are the on... moreThe article doesnt say tht this phone has 512 mb ram. it says tht kitkat supports the phones which has as low as 512 mb ram.
AnonD-227986, 18 Mar 2014So Samsung is forced by NOKIA to make low end models to compete with NOKIA X,X+,XL.
I think this is more about combating WP8 at the low end (specifically the excellent Lumia 520) than anything to do with the Nokia X range.
Android will rule the mobile ecosystem for a long time to come, but they're in danger of losing the low end market to Windows Phone and that's a very important area as those people in the future will want better phones and they're more likely to stay in the ecosystem they already know, eroding Android's grip in the mid range (and to a lesser extent the high end) market.
instead of new phones , update your new same phones like S dous 2 or ace 3 or...!
Why only 512 MB RAM.
Why can't manufacturer's like Samsung give more RAM when they are the one's manufacturing it. 1GB or at-least 768mb should be made minimum for Android. These entry level devices are sluggish. This really should change.
It's a joke that KitKat won't be available for many of Samsung 1gb ram phones released in 2013 and yet they are launching a phone with 512MB ram supporting KitKat, doesn't make any sense. The number one phone company in the world is doing low life stuff to earn money.
AnonD-227986, 18 Mar 2014So Samsung is forced by NOKIA to make low end models to compete with NOKIA X,X+,XL. Joke of the day!
Why do most manufacturers use WVGA? Wouldn't it be better if it was qHD instead?
On a 4" display, that would be crisp enough.
AnonD-237712, 18 Mar 2014Don't say that my friend, Nokia was once the leader, and no one ever thought that someone else... morehehehehe, you own note 3 is itself answer to your comment, samsung knows that it can sustain on midends and premiun device like note 3,and no samsung premium cannot fight Mighty Iphone,so no need to look at S series now.
