I wonder, did they fixed that ultra low quality camera in One 2014. Because faulty camera was the reason for selling my first One. Even my old Canon A640 did better photos.
DxPxS, 20 Mar 2014You will get used to bigger phones very quickly once you give it a chanceI have note 2 and I am used to big phones. My point is that is a huge phone for 5 inch display

HTC has done so much to please the fans and yet everyone wants to bash them about a bezel really ??? and me trying to be supportive of them for their huge turn around and improvement makes me a blind fan boy ? get a life haters.
Thornography, 20 Mar 2014Well seeing all these comments one thing is clear. But it doesn't mean they get everything right. Tons of people are unhappy about the huge bezel at the bottom of the screen, just for the HTC logo. It makes the phone bigger and is wasted space. They could put capacitive buttons there and create more useable screen space. They could make the phone smaller, with the same screen size. They could put a large screen in the same body. All would be better options. Instead they went with the worst of both worlds. Get over it. It's a legitimate criticism.
It comes across more like you're just engaging in that fanboy logic, where you like some product or company and therefore they can do no wrong and not criticism of an aspect of their products is justified.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2014I think he means there is to much wasted on the bottom, not the sides. I meant both.
Obviously the huge bezel at the bottom of the screen for the HTC logo is ridiculous and that's why this phone is almost a centimeter taller than other phones with equivalent size screens.
But the bezels on the sides of the screen are also thicker than some other phones. The original HTC One had especially large side bezels. I was hoping this version would improve that, but it seems like it has not much. Maybe it has something to do with the unibody aluminum design, I don't know.
PHZ Haider, 20 Mar 2014I will plant the seeds in your head and you will understand the reasoning behind this! Thi... moreThere are lots of phones with smaller bezels. There's no issue with the integrity of the screen. It's just an engineering problem. The screen has to be mounted in there somehow, how does one do it with small (or even no) bezels? Some companies have found ways to do it with pretty limited bezels (such as the LG G2). I don't know what the deal is with HTC, but the issue you raise is incorrect.
C , 20 Mar 2014Nope htc m8 or all new htc one doesnt have beats audio like previous phone. Beats electronics ... moreNo think it will have beats inside but no logo on the back as before, just have pay for the privilege
Well seeing all these comments one thing is clear. Some people just can't help bashing HTC cause they seem to be on the rise once again. Now that the camera is leaked to be 16 MP and a micro SD card is a yes everybody started with the bezels. god! what has the world come to.
:o this is beatiful, i hated it when i saw the leaked images ! AWESOME!
Daaamnn sexyyy design..
I think others phones beside m8 like joke and never seen that way must be to see.
Specially s5 like a toy-plaything.
You know, they don't show comparison pic from the front side for a reason. It's the bezel.
They realize HTC has huge bezel. And they don't want to make it more obvious.
the photography is wrong ...
the photographer should have placed all phones in a straight line side by side ..... bottom oriented escalation
but he has positioned them in a middle oriented escalation , that is not doing Justice to the difference in size ...
Wuchko, 19 Mar 2014My god that thing is huge. All designers of this phone should be fired. You will get used to bigger phones very quickly once you give it a chance
instead of HTC One 2014, why don't they just named it "HTC Leaked". that's more appealing. lol
