I'll just plug my spare battery into the charging port, six more hours of talktime or 100 hours of music, it also let's me use any mini USB plug as a charger.

Also, I'm not sure where your figures come from but my voice plan is $40 a month, and yes, I have AT&T service.

so add the 30 for data and 80 or 100 for voice plan and you have 110 average
(110x12) = 1320 a year for 3 years that 4k
and you think the iphone is a cheap device
the subsided price 200 was a catch
without telling you the how long you had with the phone on contract and only on contract

And your point is? Yes, multi-touch is fantastic but let me know when the iphone is capable of the following and then I'll be impressed:
SMS
Copy/Paste
Bluetooth file transfer
Video recording
A better camera with flash
User replaceable battery
These are all things that most other phones are capable of right out of the box. And then there's the fact that here in the US if you get an iphone from AT&T (unless you jailbreak it) it's required to get a $30 a month data plan. Now that may not seem like much to you but I know I can find better things to spend my $360 dollars ($30 X 12 months) on.

more fun to use i have a Nintendo DS lite
all those things that it can do iphone can't cause no stylus and if you didn't notice your reaction time and sense is highten when you have an object in you hand go play a DS game and you'll see
plus i can use it in extreme cold climates and i can get laguages translated it they write on my phone i can easily babble fish since it
can be written on screen
oh what ...iphone do any of that i almost forgot.....nevermind

i'm currently using an E70 full QWERTY keypad just like the BBs they do the same thing type with well keypad
just like the Iphone,prada,7710,Omnina there damn touch

every body who got stuck with the iphone, just has one thing to say "we have got multitouch"
Well i agree you have multi touch, but thats all you can be proud of.
(BTW i am a fan of iphone's touch interface)
