the % is just their dream Goal / dead line :O
otherwise there wont be htc in 2015 XD
I have used many htc models since the last 5 years. from desire, sensation SE, one x , desire 601 and others. My feedback is htc handphone build quality is very gd and the os is also v stable. They do upgrade yr phones when there is any new updates. However the pricing is quite high as compare to many of the other android phones. I sincerely hope that many consumers are able to own a htc phone to enable them to enjoy the products. do consider pricing the products just slightly lower so that htc can also gain market share. htc need to compete with Samsung on their wide range of products and not forgetting LG coming on very strong too.
All 3 cameras add up doesn't even reach sony/Nokia 20mp camera. Fail.
AdamBoy64, 27 Mar 2014Make a successor to the Desire Z and I'll help out with your 8-10% target.100% agree..

Yeah, I'm heading over to Blackberry - it's pretty much the only choice for those who want QWERTY.
Thanks for your findings with the Desire Z.
AdamBoy64, 27 Mar 2014Make a successor to the Desire Z and I'll help out with your 8-10% target.Phones like Desire Z was always a niche market, you may have noticed that the two most successful qwerty makers, Sony and Motorola, also gave up on that market, even Samsung who love to launch redundant phones aint entering the high end qwerty device market.
If someone does reintroduce higher end qwerty phones i hope it will be an Xperia device. I had Desire Z and was not impressed, sick low quality, you would be lucky to have the keyboard last two months, plus it had SOD issues and too much problems in software. Loved the Z-hinge though, really great mechanism, and the metal body was very premium.
Here To Change?? HTC bs I supposed..
they're not changing the camera,
still the same 4 MP...
well maybe next year would be TRIPLE 4MP Cams.
Well done HTC...
am I sarcastic enough?
No FM Radio, ludicrous pricing, a poor camera, no camera buttons, no hardware buttons, no removable battery and below average mini versions of flagships with none of the specs.
Fat chance of grabbing even 5% let alone 10%.
akkid, 27 Mar 2014Read the ultrapixel technology then say...Ultra pixel does not mean anything. HTC one's camera sucks. But I don't really care. I will buy the phone for it's looks and build quality.

But what I was trying to say is that the specs game works really well with theaverage consumer. And this granted Samsung superiority in a way or another. I could care less for cameras. I like the HTC's build quality. Unlike Samsung's recyclable plastic bags.
Make a successor to the Desire Z and I'll help out with your 8-10% target.
LEGendARY, 27 Mar 2014With 4 mega pixel camera, I highly doubt it. Read the ultrapixel technology
I can see this as a possibility. Consumers are finally wising up and figuring out how poor the experience is with Samsung phones. KPop isn't so pervasive anymore. Now it's just a matter of time before Samsung flops on itself. Mediocrity doesn't do you any good Samsung.
LEGendARY, 27 Mar 2014With 4 mega pixel camera, I highly doubt it. Yes i agree if they change to a higher mp camera
8-10% is impossible. 8-10% of the flagship market is possible but they will have to share with Nokia, Samsung, LG, Sony and Apple. They just might make it.
LEGendARY, 27 Mar 2014With 4 mega pixel camera, I highly doubt it. for your own confort i can tell you that my htc one make better pictures in terms of details and scene light than iphone 5 and 5s in any condition, especially in artificial light, night street illumination and total darkness. i made this test by myself and i make it very fair for my own information. htc one make brighter and shaper pictures than iphone 5/5s with 8 mp camera. in sunlight it is no difference because 8 mp of iphone in 4:3 aspect means indeed 5 mp in 16:9. do not forget that htc one have 4 mp in 16:9, not in bloody 4:3 old farty aspect
I can imagine all this hatred coming from Sammy fanboys. I cannot imagine people spending 700+ USD on cheap plastic packed devices and software tweaks that people don't use after a week of buying their Galaxies. As for other tech specs (chipset, processor) all the flagships are more or less identical. But what makes HTC stand out from the crowd is the design itself. That aluminium shells (M7/M8) are beauty to behold. And people saying its a choice, may be they prefer chinese notebooks to a MAC Air. What Samsung is doing is just flooding the market with so many devices that when a user goes to buy a phone, he eventually drops for a Sammy device cause that's what he is shown and that'w where Samsung is putting all the muscle power.
proud HTC Fanboy
