best android . and its gray metal in real looks far more premium than in pix...
its a beauty in ur hand
UDTQ, 01 Apr 2014Big, yes. Heavy, nope. Have you held one in your hand? It fells lighter than the M7.To be fair, it is quite a bit heavier but is balanced out in the extra length and feels thinner thanks to those rounded aluminium edges. People forget, we couldn't even be discussing any Android handsets in terms of such a premium finish 18 months ago. It was a compromise we all made, to get the benefits and freedoms Android brings . Now we have a choice of several phones equal to, or better made than, iPhones.
Ultimately, other OEM's raising their game is better for us the consumer and forces the the big 2 players Apple and Samsung to raise theirs. Still think Samsung seriously dropped the ball again this year. I could understand last year, because I don't think anyone expected HTC or LG, to go up to the level they are both at now, and yet Samsung still has the audacity to churn out more iterative, plastic junk again with the GS5. Please Samsung, put your budget in to R&D, design and build rather than blanket marketing.

Mine, coming tomorrow in gold. I know it isn't for everyone, I do like the grey, but that polished, dark, brushed surface is a fingerprint magnet.
I gotta say HTC, you certainly got your sh*t together this year, unlike last year, as regards to stock & delivery schedules. Having the phone in stock the same day as the unveiling was a masterstroke! Sony have made a great phone in the Z2, but dropped the ball with stock & deliveries by delaying it for another month. All it would have taken to get some sales, was to at least have it in store the same time as the HTC M8 & Samsung GS5. I mean, if I was an average Joe and walked into a store that had all three, I'd take the M8 or Z2 over plastic trash any day of the week...Sony should have had the jump on HTC seeing as they unveiled it a month earlier...
