Smuti, 05 Apr 2014I agree and disagree with you. And I don't mind seeing UK leave EU for good, it's only been ... morethis is not about UK...but if you live and think it will not cost you, youre so wrong
Miike Hunt, 04 Apr 2014Poor local governance?
It's the EU laws which are holding us back.No that's just the typical excuse that your local governance uses to justify itself.
Mine goverment does it constantly for the past 10 years. I would believe their lies if I would be a sheep like most of our population.
dlads, 04 Apr 2014The EU, basically the cruelest joke that could have been played on Britain.
I despise the n... moreI agree and disagree with you.
And I don't mind seeing UK leave EU for good, it's only been a strain on the EU from the very first day they became part of it. The French had a reason why they were keeping UK out for so long.

It's not just Brits that don't consider themselves part of the EU, most of the EU doesn't consider UK part of it as well.
amazing stuff! now it's left that one can call telephones from other countries for fees similar tolocal ones and eu will feel like one country! i am on contract with 3 which dosn't have the best network in sweden only to be able to roam free in Danmark!
Sort of... I live on an Island on the western extreme of Europe so it won't affect me much but whenever I am on vacation on mainland Europe this will be great!
Sometimes you are near a border and you don't have network from your country and only from the country next to you and your phone connects to Vodafone and of course you don't even notice you are on Vodafone ES and not Vodafone PT and you get charged for roaming in your own country.
Besides that, there are lots of people that live in a country and work in another so, great idea EU!
U.S. value and quality? We certainly don't want anything like the U.S. - overpriced and under-regulated. This shouldn't make it anything like the US, quite the opposite in fact.

In Europe we have over hundred Telecom companies I think five is to much as in US so let the mergers begin
peter, 04 Apr 2014regulation of rip-offs is ok, but here the bureaucrats did not think the story at the end.. t... morenope they been implementing these types of regulations for a while now and its safe to say that quality has not gone down and prices have no sky-rocketed at least not in the sense that people could no longer pay for what they needed/wanted. Unlike the United States where quality has gone down and prices have sky-rocketed and your have a population that is not able to afford the stuff. I believe Senator Bernie Sanders even made some comments recently about corporations re-thinking their strategy because their consumers were no longer able to buy the stuff.
Miike Hunt, 04 Apr 2014That's not how the EU works.Denial is always one of the answers.
You elect your leaders and a parliament which in turn delegates their democratic power into a branch created by those who were elected.
Miike Hunt, 04 Apr 2014Poor local governance? It's the EU laws which are holding us back. You and the USA and any other nation in the world except for China.
Miike Hunt, 04 Apr 2014That election covers the parliament, only. And even then you're relying on other countries ... moreIn most countries you don't elect a Government per se, you elect the parliment which in turn provides for a Government. There nothing unseen or undemocratic there.
Miike Hunt, 04 Apr 2014Like raising all our bills?Yes, blame the EU for your poor local governance.
Next thing you know it's the EU to blame for the crisis in the USA, Latin America and Japan.
Anonym, 04 Apr 2014Yes it is, specially when we are about to have elections to elect those you describe as unelected. That election covers the parliament, only.
And even then you're relying on other countries not to go full retard.
