Hassan1970, 04 Apr 2014I just don't understand Samsung's marketing, what will become of the new S5 if this G906S hits... moreIf this phone is not water resistant, there will be people who still prefer the S5 so they will get two different target groups (especially if this one is metal).
After the Buzz of the Nokia device with snap 805 and QHD i understand that samsung wanna make the buzz too....anyway now that wp already catch up on spec i think the battle will be more interesting in the coming days...hoping for some LG G2 or HTC M8 like with WP8.1 !!
This must be a Q4 release product. Not much time left for a Q4 release if you think about it. It will probably come with the usual extensions for S5 like Advance, Active, Afterburner, Anunaki etc
guess S5 preorders did not give numbers as planned huh...:D. hurry up Samsung, throw out the beast as soon as possible...
competition is strong...but this is getting ridicilous
What bothers me is not how soon will they throw out a new flagship, but how soon are they going to forget the users of a previous one.
The existence of this device in a very short time since the maiden voyage of S5 has one message: That the S5 is not that good at all. I pity those who preordered it when something better is in the oven.
If this is true then im not happy. It just sucks to own a device and have it outdated in a couple months not good customer experience.
Beyond 5 inch the phone will be unusable for its big screen
Even 5 inch is big enough for everyday tasks
Premium or not, i'm so buying this device instead of a S5.
Given that codename, it obviously has to be some S5 "advance / Prime / Premium / Turbo / + / S" variant.
I just don't understand Samsung's marketing, what will become of the new S5 if this G906S hits the market? They are burning all their cards like that, perhaps they'll wait till the S5 sails start dropping b4 they release this one? Any way I've always been a strong supporter of 2 flagship phones per year, one flagship is not enough. The Mobile technology yearly cycle can afford for @least 2 flagship phones each year by each company.
Mobilemaster, 04 Apr 2014Sony and HTC does not make better phones than Samsung(overall talking). The problem with Samsu... morethe UI is heavy and gimmicky the build quality is cheap and they need to copy features i.e ip rating, extreme power saving mode. but...... their marketing skills are fantastic
