I actually have a question. I own a N5800. Just got it recetly for the music player. Now that I hav loaded music on it, I cant play the songs coz it keeps searching for podcasts and trying to hook up to the internet everytime I open the music player. Im in Nigeria and I dont want to be forced to hook up to the net on my phone. How do I get it to stop coz its getting on my nerves?

Nokia 5800 is an awesome phone at a great price thus giving me an amazing value. Nokia XpressMusic phones have a superb sound output and quality. Also, the DAC in 5310 really makes the listening pleasure a great experience.

Nokia Music Phones are not that goood! Instead watch out for Samsung's BEAT Edition which is coming up.. Really Nice with B&O amp for crystle clear sound quality.. NK5800 is really a flop bse of problems in touch screen response

Anonymous, 10 Mar 2009just like to say 5800 is not fail lol. its like the fastest selling handset here we can't even... moreWhere I live 5800 is available EVERYWHERE....never SOLD OUT...

Indeed, most (if not all) operators seemed to receive (heavy) subsidies to promote such phones be sold for US$150~200 (with contract), while competitors' products still cost around $200~$250.

Of course, iphone 3G is still available exclusively through one operator with NO price decrease since its launch days, and overall I still see (way) more Apple users than 5800 where I live.

If offering USB charing is childish for iphone, I wonder why 5800 can't even do such simple thing...

iPhone4arab, 09 Mar 2009nice slogan...it could have been better, though..... One more thing,,,why is Nokia always stu... moreThat's because Nokia is synonymous to Symbian. Now that they have acquired the Symbian Foundation, Nokia will exert more effort in developing the OS.

                                        Music player???

I guess they didn't want to use the term "iPod" which almost everyone on earth uses, for fairly obvious reasons.
