Does this Telecom phone work with international 3G standards?
Does it have Google Play or is it stuck with Chinese app stores and the Samsung app store?
I have used the Telecom Note 3 dual-sim phone and it only works with China Telecom's data, so is not an international phone and can access data at best, if at all, at 2G speeds off [Telecom] network.
I have the Chinese version of the Galaxy S5 dual sim, for use in Europe. I believe it is the only version out there right now.
It is a very nice product, slim and stylish.
Very fast right now (without all my apps), good camera and very nice display, good screen size for use both one handed as well as 2.
1.No Gapps, no Google store, maps etc. you can't flash the Gapps nither install the Play Store apk.
2.It is a dual sim phone, however, one is CDMA the second GSM unlocked, the first CDMA bay would not recognise any sim other than CDMA, this bay is also for cdma 2000 fast data transfer, not sure if the secondary GSM bay is LTE.
This is anoying because unless this particular model from Chine would be flashable with other regions FWares/kernels, for getting the google services and the first sim to work on GSM (not sure if it is a firmware or hardware issue), it is very little utalizable as a Dual sim phone, and even if as a single sim phone, no google apps??? forget about it.
Anyone has any idea wheather new firmwares for other regions would also change the first sim bay from cdma to gsm?

It looks like the samsung-galaxy-s5-g9009d-dual-sim will be sold in Australia too. But the phone is still unreleaced and the price is TBC (to be confirmed) on this website;
It also has high ratings: 966 Reviews, Average score 9.3/10
I am browsing for a new phone myself and will be going to Australia soon for 3 months. I came across this website and thought I let others know who might be interested.

I don't understand why Samsung don't lunch a premium dual sim in Europe. I have a S4 and I will be forced to move to a diferent brand, maybe HTC. It is a shame this lack of vision...
Will it be usable/compitable in Bangladesh if I buy a G9009D set right now from China?

We also need the dual sim version of s5 outside china; Nigeria and other African countries.

There are faster Snapdragon 800 dual-SIM phones such as Note 3 9002 or Lenovo K910. This S5 Dual-SIM only works with China Telecom.
gsm, 04 Apr 2014Amazing handset ugly as everStill much more beautiful than HTC M8 or Z2.
No matter how hard the apple propaganda and apple fans bash it.
Currently I'm using the Galaxy Note 3 yet it's superb handset but with downside for not having capability of DUAL SIM. I am quite tired for bringing two handsets all the time to receive calls so I am planning to trade-in this to a DUAL Sim but powerful smartphones.
For now my only choice is the HTC One Dual Sim. However, if this Dual sim version of SGS5 is still rocking power the same with the original SGS5 sibling at affordable price then I might go with this.
Both handsets can be acquired via online purchase since these are not available in Saudi Arabia so I have to make informed decisions which to choose from.
