nawazac, 21 Apr 2014dont update....battery life will suck...Don't worry friend. Every Samsung phone I used (Note3, S4, Note1, S2) and even Sony T2 Ultra, after every update especially the major Android update version, it will encounter serious battery drainage for about 2-3 weeks, then it will even more power saving after that period. Go ahead and update, trust me.
Tron09Ire, 22 Apr 2014I am sorta glad I didn't upgrade to KitKat OS, as I found out, when I as about to get a new ph... moreI can confirm that is BS.. my S4 (I9500) does allow that.
i really dont see much of a difference in Kitkat anyway seems like a smoother animated frame rate but faster performence mm slight but of course only so much one can do. but from a OS upgrade im disapointed really there hasnt been anything significant in Andriod since ver 2.3/3.X to 4.0 and jelly bean to me was just a performence increase on all phones.
they got to do something about the mass amount of power the OS is drawing tho in general compared to Winmobile 8 and IOS
im also starting to not give a f about the whole octa core as my cpu monitor keeps only telling me im using 2-10% general use only on 2 cores at 600MHz to 1.2Ghz (out of the total 4 cores that switches over to 1.6GHZ) im going Huawei next time cheaper andriod same issues. wont touch Iphone till they make proper 5 inch phones and other abilities read/write via usb flash)
I am sorta glad I didn't upgrade to KitKat OS, as I found out, when I as about to get a new phone that Kitkat does not permit me to use third party apps to access my External SD Card... only the phones pre-installed apps have the rights what a bu**er...
