Relying on SYMBIAN OS for too long drowned Nokia'a ship. Android was fresh with hell lot of customization. Going with symbian was like taking knife to a gun fight. Their EGO killed them.
i hope microsoft should not be a selfish *&^% and retain the brand NOKIA. they have to respect the name, and continue the legacy.
Your phones will remain with us forever.
lol guys... it's just that MS will be having products with the MS name. it does not mean that those phones will NOT have the NOKIA goodness... WELL DONE MS... WE NEED ANOTHER AWESOME FLAGSHIP DEVICE BY YOU!!!
since 2005 am a hardcore nokia fan.. (right now am Feeling like a parentsless child).. Now nokia is piece of history, this makes me very sad.. RIP 'NOKIA connecting people'.
Finaly nokia ends it's awesome job for mobile world. i like it's great Lumia Series . Good Bye Nokia!
I shall say my son when he grows up...... " Once up on a time, there was a Company by name Nokia which ruled the mobile industry for more than two decades......"
For all the advancements, it bemuses me as to why no windows phone will provide the user with a basic choice of keyboards. Eg: alphanumeric key pad for messaging. Not everyone wants to push and tap every single minuscule letter. Alpha numeric is much larger by nature and is very fast at messaging. Please do include this, then maybe we could buy.
erwin, 25 Apr 2014bye bye NOKIA... i will now keep my eyes on HTC. I dont think microsoft doin the right thing, ... moreAgree with Erwin... But feeling very sad ...for Nokia.. I always love this name since 2000...

AnonD-42433, 25 Apr 2014RIP Nokia! I own Nokia Lumia 925 (switched from Android to Windows Phone 8 thanks to Lumia 925... moreSame store here, except I'm returning back to Android after this. I don't think we will see devices with Nokia on them anymore.
6110, 5110, 3310, 3210, 3330, Nokia N-Gage, N-Gage QD, Nokia Xpress Music, 500, Lumia 925!
I own a Nokia 3310. That is my first phone. I love Nokia too and also sad about this. But i truly believe wp8 is the way to go. Android is just buggy n still laggy in some point. N please android fanboys. Stop making excuse that android are not laggy. Try install as many apps as u u can without uninstall it. U will see ur android will slowly lags. My Lumia 1520 works perfectly even i'd install many apps. As long as Nokia making the Hardware even without thier branding. I will still buy it. I just want window. I dont want android. Microsoft is a software giant. Google just a browser com.that tried to makes Money with smartphone. I Trust microsoft. And i trust bill gates..
