Always trust LG to make good-feature phones with the worst possible display quality.

I guess because you don't need to waste any space below the screen for capacitive buttons, making possible using a bigger screen in the same body dimensions? I am strongly against on-screen buttons on earlier versions of Android, but immersive mode on KK really eliminates the difference...
lg already launch l80 in Indonesia: http://chip.co.id/news/technology-gadget-android-photo_gallery/11407/ini_dia_smartphone_lg_l80_hands_on
Wow...This one looks a lot less like a Galaxy...Sure it still has touchwiz though. They are not going to include their leaked G3 UI on a mid ranger and nothing else.
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2014480x800 on 5" screen? pffffIts not the only important in a budget smartphone.
L80 has to offer some great feature other than screen resolution.

AnonD-251095, 27 Apr 2014At least it does not have damn on-screen buttons.Oh, please enlighten me what are the difference between on screen buttons and capacitive buttons on newest KitKat phones?
Yes, you guessed it... NONE!
You even get more screen space with on screen buttons, so this is even a huge plus!
This phone is dumber than my Xolo Q800 from almost 2 years ago , which costs 120Eur . What happened to LG ? Why are selling this types of devices to the people . We are in 2014 LG , you have to innovate and lower prices if you want to sell - 5" and 800x480 , i`ll rest my case
LG L 80 , L 70 are really cool for everyone who doesn't earn much cash, with alot of great features, thank you :-)
Keep it up LG & Samsung, and HTC
BTW, that is not a multitasking button, it's for SIM card switching...
