AnonD-5465, 29 Apr 2014Also if any body will buy a new phone how can u convince him that the S5 metal premium thing ... moreEverything comes with the time iboy.
We remember how you all and the tech media , were bashing Note 3 for the faux leather. Now you pretend that you are Note 3 user and love it.
Same will happen with S5 soon. When more and more ppl see that you are talking iBS, and S5 looks and feels great.
Samsung will NEVER go for cheap aluminum with the flagship phones, though.
AnonD-239213, 29 Apr 2014No! Try doing some research son. The s5 has huge demand. And what you said could be said about... moreYou should make your research, S5 ,and S4 are half as succesful as S3 was.
S5 ,S4 failed to make impact that S3 did , when it came to market. So, they are failure.
Also if any body will buy a new phone how can u convince him that the S5 metal premium thing is better than the Z2 ! I held the S5 side to side with the Z2 and Z2 built quality smashed the s5.
By the way am a note3 user and love the faux leather to extent that I dont even put a case
Still Samsung cant make anything better than the Note3 ... No Note3 user will swap unless for Note5 !! Damn its a damn good device
Samsung will most likely release another S-class flagship this year.
The S4 could not keep the pace up, for the holliday season, like the s3 before it, they were simply to old, and with other of the big brands having release a new top offer, they felt outdated. Some of those sales were rescued by the Note, that took the place of flagship with the latest tech inside. But many were those, who rather went to the competiton.
So, to not loose pace, Samsung will, like sony, start a twice a year flagship update strategy.
But theese rumours of an S5 prime sounds unlikely, it's too soon to release the next flagship. It will most likely feel outdated compared to the likes of the next Z from Sony, and the iPhone 6, by the holliday season.
At most such a device would be a limited release in certain coutries, perhaps South korea/China/Russia, at a very premium price, but then we are talking more expensinve then the iPhone, so really no longer in the same game. But I still doubt it.
These are probably early tests of the next S-class flagship, whatever Samsung will call it (S5 II, S6 or something different alltogheter).
AnonD-239213, 29 Apr 2014What are people supposed to find that funnyI think the poster meant 70k in Indian Rupee which coverts to $1251 Australian dollars, at today's currency rate.
AnonD-89109, 29 Apr 2014What's the price? Guessing 70k - ish? What are people supposed to find that funny
AnonD-135230, 29 Apr 2014Huh? S4 and S5 have 1920x1080 screens, not 2560 × 1440.2560x1440 is more like 2.5k. 1080p is much closer to 2k than 2560p.
This is what the original S5 should have been seeing that it's supposed to be the flagship.
Sounds like "optimus prime", so this samsung is going to have the ability to "transform" itself into a... Let's say... An iPhone 6
If all they do is change the plastic body to a metal version with exactly the same design it would be hilarious piece of junk. For metal to work it must be a total design change. But let me go out on a limb and predict this, it will be the exact same design with faux leather back and metal body instead of plastic to the point you wouldn't be able to tell unless you felt it.
Aluminum design.... so does that mean Samsung will finally lose the horrible cheap-looking dimpled back design???
AnonD-239213, 29 Apr 2014The s4 and s5 already have 2k displays like many othersHuh? S4 and S5 have 1920x1080 screens, not 2560 × 1440.
Hopefully it turns out to be true. Will be my phone for the next so-so years, no matter what tech brings along. S805, 2K screen, 3GB RAM and others not mentioned (trust sammy to load in many cool bounties in software) in an aluminum body (hope they can perforate it just like the current design... Cos i really love those dots at the back)... And who says it won't be five years futureproof... All hail the king of phones. Long live Uncle Sam!sung
