Screw Nokia there board of directors are really stupid all,I cared was, that Nokia hardware was the best the camera lovely now that Ms bought Lumia I would like a window logo on my phone Nokia can die or,should, start making meego, again or Symbian I really miss those both
Hope Microsoft can give us a decent Note like phone. I'd like to see their software division port at least some of the excellent one note features to the mobile platform.
PL-GM, 29 Apr 2014I have been hearing this about every version of Windows Mobile\Phone since Mobile 6.x onwards.... morewell time will tell everything...But personaly i own ipod 5 touch and lumia 720..i love both Os..IOS has many apps and features whereas winphone8 is simple to use and stable.
PL-GM, 29 Apr 2014I have been hearing this about every version of Windows Mobile\Phone since Mobile 6.x onwards.... moreActually, now that Windows Phone is free. It will get more OEMs and will gain marketshare. Before it was too expensive for the OEMs to invest in.
How will you not take a hit really when your fans come to your Nokia website comes to buy your phone you refer to them to corporate networks like AT&T and Verizon that they don't want to buy from? You shot yourself in the foot, Nokia. Blame yourself. I visited your site times to buy Nokia Lumia 1520 and I couldn't buy one. Your competitors, like Oppo, offer their phones for sale unlocked and contact free on their site. It saddens me to see you go down that road.
jdrafferty1990, 29 Apr 2014windows phone 8.1 will change the fortunes for Nokia, for sure...developer version itself is a... moreI have been hearing this about every version of Windows Mobile\Phone since Mobile 6.x onwards. They have yet to achieve it in almost 10 years and multiple versions and hardware vendors. I'll believe it when I actually see it.
Please bring here maps to android. Gmaps is great but here has the best offline navigation.
MdN8, 29 Apr 2014Why do you compare WP hardware to Android and not to iOS?The difference is that Apple controls the hardware in it's entirety, which includes the absolute development of the SoC. Microsoft only dictates which SoC's are supported by the OS, which is a whole different kettle of fish. And that is all even without going to the point that Android can run pretty much fine on a dual-core, as long as the phone-builder is optimizing properly.
iloveNokia, 29 Apr 2014So does this mean that they sold less? wow :( ... I love Nokia but somehow it's so dissapointingIt means that they sell almost only cheap phones, people arent very interested in high end WP phones and its very understandable. I too could buy a cheap Nokia but forking out $700 and above on a WP device, who would do such a thing? Obviously none, or very close to none.

MdN8, 29 Apr 2014Why do you compare WP hardware to Android and not to iOS?Your question is only partially correct. Both iOS and WP does not require 4/8 core CPUs to run smoothly for basic operations like Android. But Apple has always used best GPUs in their devices. So the theory that Apple uses outdated hardware was only partially true. I mentioned WAS - because that is no longer true with latest idevices (ipad air, ipad mini 2, iphone 5s). The dual core A7 chip in latest idevices is as good as snapdragon 800 in android flagships.
Shishir Mukherjee, 29 Apr 2014Cut the crap and stop this hate nobody wants your opinion. That post has quite correct information. Nokia has always been using old technology, but their latest cameras have been better than most of the rivals. It won't fix the lack of a good OS, since I personally don't like the WP OS.
Shishir Mukherjee, 29 Apr 2014Cut the crap and stop this hate nobody wants your opinion.actually he is telling the truth .
Well.. The Nokia X daily hit in GSMArena.com will tells everything.
