If you look closely, the picture seems to be photoshopped..You can tell on the top of the phone..

The phone looks great but the camera is even better. I wonder when this phone will be out. It always take so long for SE to start launching the phone. Anyone have any idea when?

I don't know how GSMarena got the idea that SE is using internet lexicon to name this phone or Greek for that matter. If this is indeed being designed by Sony Ericsson Japan, I'm more inclined to believe that the word "Idou" is Japanese. As a matter of fact, 移動(Idou) means "mobile" in Japanese.
If Sony does buy Ericsson's stock in SE aka "SE splitting", we would definately see a PSP phone, so I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I don't see what Ericsson has contributed to SE besides Symbian, so as far as I'm concerned Sony can do without Ericsson.

This phone has too many flaws in the design... The lens cover is too big and ugly and it slides vertically instead of horizontally. If you slide the phone into your pocket you will open the camera lens by accident. The shape is ugly and not symmetrical either. The top looks heavier and thicker than the bottom as well.

What I have read so far is that Sony is trying to make a phone that is both "Walkman" and "Cybershot". If that is so then I agree with it's current name Idou, since as it is pronounced, it's as if they are saying "I do". Thus the union of both categories into one.

It's not even a picture of the (silver) phone. Has a few changes to the actual design of the Idou so I would guess that it is a fake.

Inside_Hand, 26 Mar 2009This phone will not be released until 2012! Believe me, please.You really think so??? Then I guess its gonna happen the same thing that happened to the N96 when it came out... it was already outdated! I really hope you are wrong about this! (What are your sources anyway?)
BTW... I happen to like the name idou... its becoming popular that way...

I like black because the screen is bigger, from silver I like the buttons from the side they are put more inside

I think that the silver is not real because it has differences (the keys, the dimensions, the light sensor etc)
