I was a symbian lover until I switched to Android last 2011. Been loving Android esp. HTC and Sense UI. Then a Friend gave me an iPhone 4S recently and I'm also loving it. And been really thinking of getting an iPhone 6 Once released. Well hopefully I would get it 50% off from our local carrier.

True! Even a lot of iphone 3g and 3gs are still alive. I think apple should make a trade-in. Trade in your old iphone for a new one of a lesser cost. If not, it will be hard for people to upgrade. Another strategy is making the ios8 available for older phones making them lag and eventually people will resort to an upgrade. But could backfire and switch to Android

pp05, 04 May 2014I see the S4 doing good numbers or many sticking to what they have already. IPhone 4 does well... morereally, sony is targeting their z1 compact for this market. compact flagship which surpasses nearly all iphone selling points apart from simplicity and an restrictive eco-system

iPhones are too well built and last too long due to regular iOS update. Many of my friends say they will only upgrade once the phone is dead but with the iOS update, even iPhone 4 are still current.

I see the S4 doing good numbers or many sticking to what they have already. IPhone 4 does well because of its size and the fact that there isn't any competition for it with that size of screen.

Fool Apple. They should lowered the price so anyone can upgrade. And the support they should not removed it especially to the iPhone 4. If iOS 8 release, I'm sure iPhone 4 will not get it. I request to lower price that's why windows phone passes the iOS in 24 countries.

TDMaster, 03 May 2014iPhone Users Say good bye to 900$ from wallet.. :)Not sure where your from, but UPGRADES aren't $900.00, they will run $199.00-$299.00.

And anyone who simply wants the iPhone 5s, the price will be lowered to $99.00

Samsung gonna be hugely upset. iPhone 6 is gonna swallow a huge segment of the large screen segment, formerly dominated by Samsung, and this time, court victories will prevent Samsung from copying or at least make them think twice.

Upgrading iPhone & iPad are just for the hardware & speed. The inside is still the same, only few functions added on each iOS version upgrades.

Well they have a perfect screen size, 3.5 inch. It's very nice and compact. Phones are getting ridicilously big these days, and I hate that. 3.5 was excellent, 4 is okay-ish, but 5 inch is way too large.

But how many got the iPhone 4 or s4 two years ago? Many of the iPhone users just want the free phone so most got probably a year ago or less and won't be eligible yet.
