billy boy, 13 May 2014Its a beta. Everyone knows that. Even me lolTime will tell. I'm waiting for official firmware to be bug free and then see how APPS/OS perform together. End of 2014 can be good or bad for MS depending if they delivered it right or not to consumers as they expect it.
Mus, 13 May 2014where did u get ur info from???? no one claims so. wp8.1 reviews have been extremely positive... moreI am sure 100% that Whatsapp is very cheap on WP8 as on my device and many many others also. Why so many negative ratings on Whatsapp review page on Windows Store..? I have tested it myself. Whatsapp in WP8 can ONLY share video/picture if captured by phone camera OR if you choose correct file type then put it in camera roll folder manually. Where as in Android I can share any video/pic that is taken either by phone camera OR downloaded from youtube-downloading app OR I put from my PC in videos/pics folder IN SD card or internal phone memory.Nokia Video Trimmer app can only recognize and trim videos taken by phone camera .WP being closed source is very narrow minded while Google being open source is very user-friendly and easy to manage. I just hope for all WP users that they are not frustrated by WP8.1 official firmware or independent App developers.I like Nokia quality and got bored of Android UI so shifted to WP.See Jongla apps reviews on WP store then come back...

It's just not every developer has Windows 8 PC to develop WP apps. And not everyone can afford a WP developer license yearly to keep their app in store. Developing app for WP is not cheap, you know.

Running wp8.1 on Lumia 920, and for now everything is running smoothly :-)
Great move LG we love you for that please we need more Windows Phones. Should make a range of Windows Phones we need them too much in market.

wp8.1 reviews have been extremely positive by enthusiasts and reviewers alike. i am running it on my 920. it's superbly amazing. check the gsmarena review of wp8.1. the only flaw was the music player but it was fixed.
u can actually share a video on whatsapp from the photo hub ( the attachment icon then album and select the vid)...
i never really understood the need of .mkv support (never had an mkv vid) but anyway, vlc announced their app for wp will be released soon.
I owned LG E900 before i switched to Sony Z Ultra.I must say, E900 is the most premium smartphone Ive ever owned. (reason switch - E900 need to be replace; 2 years of service and I want bigger screen)
Very sleek, the metal case feels premium, 5MP Camera produced more impressive and reasonable picture quality than 8MP of my Sony Z Ultra and its a good one handed phone too! I am indeed very impressed!
I hope this one bring Optimus Series a good name yet again, good luck LG!
ohhh i love this phone...will buy WP8.1 mobile if this is become the real phone someday. I'm waiting!!!
Ever since WP 8.1 install through their "Preview for Developers" app mostly by enthusiasts , I see negative ratings by many people for such apps as Whatsapp... it looks to me if in near future if apps in WP is not supported in timely manners and in par with other rival OS like android and Apple , many people may turn to Android or Apple.I am too much frustrated when I see I cannot run a .mkv movie or share any video or audio file in my Videos/Pictures folder in whatsapp in WP8 on Lumia 820.I wait for WP8.1 and then see how the apps will perform in it, I am sure others are waiting for this also then they may reject WP or like it more.
Great looking phone, unlike Android, on WP we have frequent updates. This could be my next phone.
