AnonD-133810, 15 May 2014LG, please put a option to choose between capacitive and on screen buttons(like 1+1). I don't ... moreWell you can get immersive mode to get rid of on screen buttons. Capacative buttons can be annoying for gaming.
Seems ultra slim bezels, I love this.
Currently i'm using Note 2 but G3's design making me to buy this stunner.
LG, please put a option to choose between capacitive and on screen buttons(like 1+1). I don't like screen on buttons, wasting screen space(my opinion).
Hmmmm, let's play spot the Samsung fanboy!...Android is moving forward, in spite of Samsung dragging its feet and playing catch up. Capacitive buttons & indeed physical home buttons are the past. Android Kit-kat has immersive mode so the buttons disappear until you touch the screen & only use screen real estate when you are using the buttons. If certain apps don't have that yet it's because of the app devs, not the OEM. As for the removable battery, that is a total non issue with any phone with Snapdragon 800 onwards of the software is properly optimized! In fact it was never an issue on my HTC One and I'm a heavy user. On my M8, I'm getting at least 50% more battery life and ultra power saving mode takes thing to a whole new level if I have a situation where I'm away from charging for a long time. I got 10hours from 4% the other day. If the OEM uses a top quality li-po battery, you shouldn't lose more than 10% capacity after 1000 charges. I personally don't own phones for more than a year, but that should last 3 years if need be...
The power button looks bigger and easier to press now. And the volume buttons have more texture. The black one looks great.
i didnt like g2 design at all but this one is different, i will buy it for sure but hope it support micro sd cards so i can put my 64gb inside it.
lg is the only company which working on their designs so hard not like sammy which cant forget of the old s3 design.
Jason, 15 May 2014This design is awesome! I have to say it is better than S5 and X2 and even M8.
But i am still... moreAllow me to contradict you. In darker images or movies, on amoled dark gray pixels turn into pitch black, on the other hand, IPS LCD screens show the colours as they are. Iphone 5 has some of the most accurate colour reproducing displays.
-dark gray -> black/purple black
-white -> green
-green, blue and red are oversaturated.
LG is a great innovator in smart phones manufacturing and design. I appreciate the hard and smart work of LG.
LG has always been the first to try new things:
1. 3D phones
2. Curved Phones
3. Buttons on the Back
4. HD IPS LCD
5. Knock Code Lock
6...... and others.....
If you cannot respect someone's real efforts, please do not bluntly refuse what they have done for you. Unlike Apple who is only after your money and in return don't even wanna give you the freedom to transfer a small file over blue tooth or choose a ringtone without the hassle of itunes.
Engineer55, 14 May 2014The lack of capacitive buttons turns me off. I don't like to have buttons on my screen which a... moreOh shut it. Just stick with your 10 year old Nokia 3310. It has that removable battery cover you love so much.
coming from G2, this is truly a refreshing design, attractive and functional as it was on G2
too bad about the 5.5" and QHD res though
too much of overkills in phone scale.
gonna have a hard time putting this phone in my pocket.
Definitely my next phone...
Come from LG G Pro.. Has been using sony xperia s and samsung s3 before..
Good job LG
LG you failed; G2 was perfect & you claimed that 5.2 was the perfect screen size NO BIGGER - why have you gone bigger, come up with a better upgrade idea.
The best device so far by lg or any other company. It will steal htc one's spot.
Can't wait to get my hands on it.
AnonD-263813, 15 May 2014I Have Bad Experience with GPS connectivity in LG G2.. cellphone GPS doesn't support all locations, it requires a supported service provider to be near.
