US$880? I don't think so. That figure is from the Korean price of W880,000. It'll be more like $700, since Samsung phones (and any Korean electronic or appliance or vehicle) are priced lower in the US.

A.M.H, 16 May 2014Apparently 11M people dont agree or dont care about it. ignore them,
those trolls/haters live in some kind of alternate reality where they think that their so-called "marketing expertise" are "real"

since Samsung keeps denying its existence, there's a possibility that this device won't be bearing Samsung logo. it might be designer phone just like Samsung Giorgio Armani or Samsung B&O few years ago.

AnonD-168372, 16 May 2014Just make it smaller, design is just fine because I will put case anyway.Want a 'smaller' phone then buy one of the dozens-upon-dozens of 'smaller' phones currently on the market.

A substantial portion of the Galaxy S5's appeal is that 'large display' and the masterful manner in which Samsung's UI utilizes it.

vaz, 16 May 2014what's the point design still sucksThis. With Samsung it's not that much about the material than it is about the design. Leaked LG G3 shots(if those are legit) show that it is possible to build a very good looking phone using plastic exteriors.

i think samsung is telling the truth.... thats not a prime version of the galaxy s5 this phone could either be the next flagship if they decided to copy sony's two flasghip a year motto or another phone like the galaxy round but with no curve displays but a 2k display just to see if people will like it if its a hit? then they will continue pushing through with 2k displays if not welcome back superamoled 1080 displays
