G3 has better speaker and maybe design more like.
It's also moved onto being a phablet which will not suite everyone.
You talk about fanboys, but you make some fairly ranty bias comments

So because you have a personal hurt and jealous hatred towards them...You come on here and make up illogical bashes...Then you are going to teach them lies into getting what you like.
That's really helping the situation.... Congratulations.
LG number 1
i dont care about flagships bigger than 5.0 inches. Too big for me.
Just because Samsung sell the most phones doesn't mean they make the best device, totally rubbish, some people purchase a device and stay with that manufacturer, that's the case with Samsung, it doesn't matter how awful a phone they produce, people will still buy the junk simply because it's Samsung. Both my brothers had the S2 and S4, because they didn't have time to look and do any research. Now, though, i will personally choose their next phone for them and it will either be the G3 or just maybe the Z3 when it releases sometime in October/November, BUT certainly NOT the S5 or Note 4.

As usual too many Samsung fanboys on here, the G3 is certain to be the best phone of 2014, the only way Sony will displace LG is if finally STOP WATERPROOFING their phones, it spoils them, with large ugly bezels, it's the main reason I will never go anywhere near Sony devices. It wil be interesting to see what they do with the Z3 though. Samsung may as well retire from the mobile industry, churning out such boring drivel time and again, while HTC will have to wait till next year to have any chance of displacing LG. The One M8 didn't do enough for me, they need to follow LG and place their speakers at the back.
AnonD-22824, 28 May 2014Not impressed at all!! 1) Why not atleast 3300 or 3500 mah battrey? Even the old 5.5"... moreLook,, What are you doing here sammy's officer??
darkraver, 27 May 2014uh, you're just being overhyped...relax wait for the price, camera, build and battery test at... morePrice, build and battery are the most important ones. Camera will be rubbish like in all smartphones(yes, even in Lumias).

I just bought myself galaxy note 10.1 2014 LTE version, cause it meets all educational and research needs.

There is the Nexus 6 and all manner of nice well specced well priced thin fast Chinese handsets already on the market, OnePlus etc included. LG have innovated well here.
its awesome. design is the usp imo, it has the metal like texture, since its is plastic we shouldnt be afraid of any dents or deep scratches, instead we can just change the rear case. UI wise LG has improved a lot, older lg's ui were just a joke, now they are up their with other android skins from different OEM'S. even i like the vanila android but onlhy about 10% of android users mess with their phone for for the other 90% users these skins is what decide the phone and also the specs :D..anyway superb device but now way i can afford one :p
AnonD-171691, 28 May 2014Should have used the latest snapdragon 805 chip.Anyway u r not goin to buy this... STOP whinning...
Should have used the latest snapdragon 805 chip.
wow lg g3... if it has great batterylife review like z2 considering its ppi/qhd screen and if it would have been ip58 dust and waterproof it wouldve been perfect... but lg us definitely on the right track...
This screen to size ratio looks promising but, that will definitely prime to screen cracks.
It may be has same height as xperia z2 but still wider than xperia
Angry Mobile Nerd, 28 May 2014Ok so I was right about the G3 not being water resistant but wrong about the battery as I pred... moreLmfao, I love your moniker.
Speaker on the back is a big step backwards. Just awful design.
Ok so I was right about the G3 not being water resistant but wrong about the battery as I predicted it would be in the 3200-3500 range and not the same size as the 3000mAh also used in its KDDI Isai counterpart.
Still, Android phones are totally plateauing this year -- no real home runs. QHD was suppose to be the big thing this year but now that it's here nobody really wants it. I think manufacturers really should have focused on battery life this year but none of them have yet delivered a 2014 flagship phone with mind blowing battery life (ie. 100+ hours in GSMArena's battery life test).
With the Nexus line reportedly cancelled, that only leaves the Note 4 as Android's last hope for this year and if its styling is anything like the S5 then the future looks bleak.
