phablets- FUNNY NAME for large screen mobile phones .. but phablets are popular with teenage students - 2 in 1 .. also can use DATA packages 4g with cellular services . PHABLETS are very popular in asia americas amongst university and high schoolers .. we have nexus 7 2013 - waste of money very limited use .. also sony z ultra 6.4 in - too large as a phone -- poor phone BAD ACOUSTICS .. SAMSUNG MEGA SOUNDS BETTER NAME THAN PHABLET ..
Such a good news.....I am just waiting for a 15.6 inch phone now 😩
Anonymous, 29 May 2014i hope it has removable battery.
I always want 7-8" tablet, but unfortunately their bui... moreIt most likely will have a removable battery. I know a lot of people are unhappy with Samsung's design philosophy of late but there are three things that Samsung incorporates into practically every phone they release which is why they continue to sell so well:
1. Removable battery
2. Expandable memory via card slot
3. Physical home button flanked by capacitive keys
The competition only has one or two of these features but you'll be hard pressed to find another with all three.
Anonymous, 30 May 2014Not bad, playing game is good.Yeah, it'd be great for mobile gaming.
Like if the game you wanted to play was only on mobile, this would be a good way to do it.
Why the fu** are they doing this?
They keep increasing the sizes idiotically without a need for it... I hope for the next Samsung Galaxy S they will actually come back to at least the size of Galaxy S4(The S5 size for me is pretty much in the unacceptable compartment)...
7inch phone could be fine if they get rid of 16:9 aspect ratio, so phone can be narrow eonugh for hand
Really Samsung, first straighten out your design team before throwing out 7" smartphones because you can, really 7" smartphone, LOL.
its great for watching movies, i will buy one for sure.
but its battery capacity is really important for me,hope they release it soon
Big it may be, but my Note1 died a few weeks ago and I looked at all of those "big" phones. That they aren't. They may be long but they are skinny with only four apps across the screen. The Note1 has five apps across the screen. So with only four apps that means that the device can be used by one hand, while it does take two hands to work the Note1. So I'm still shopping phones to replace the lost Note1. so boys & girls gripe all you want about those big phones, cause they ain't!
[deleted post]Its common to see Asians using 7 inch tablets as phones, thats why lots of Asian brands are already selling 7 inch phones. It has nothing to do with hand size, even a 6 inch cant be used with one hand no matter how big you are, even iPhones are usually operated with two hands, that completely voids your argument.
Even 8 inch tablets are used as phones, and its nothing you need to put your euro nose into, its just none of your business no matter how smart you think you are (and has proven the opposite)
Anybody will buy a 2g and 3g sim Tab than 7 inch phone. Which give good battery backup. U will be like joker in public if u buy this phone.
