And I buy what I like to buy and when its worth it, But I am not paying for a phone with its worhtless software like yphone, which is not even worth a chewed gum.
Nokia has more browsers and yPhone has one? that must suck, I know how it feels. We have the freedom to use any browser we want and each one of them is the best browser in its class, unlike the crappy crappari from crapple.
And I dont eat in restaurants, I eat at my home, Thank You.

people let iphone people alone about their prefer phone. let them be happy with their crappy camera and apps they constantly pay for and a phone that don't give you the full internet experience because it has no flash(remember:that's why they pulled that commercial of theirs about the internet experience)they about to hit modern times with the new features being release on the 3.0 software inhancement. forget the fact that most are lying about carrying around digital cameras and camcorders with them everywhere they go,cause they don't. in forget the fact that most high end cellphones picture quality is now starting to equal that of most digital cameras except the proffessional ones and that's been proven. iphone people rejoice in your new software and possibly new version of the same device coming out soon(still rumored)! we will be happy with the n97 when it's release with a different ui and real internet experience and so forth.

The iphone is a phone for both teens and adults. It caters to almost anyone.
Jailbreaking the iphone is a choice you have to make. That only proves that the iphone can actually do more and shows a lot of potential. What added bonus features can your Nokia device do if you jailbreak it? NONE.
You do not need a credit card all the time to install apps from the App Store. Don't be ignorant. And, is there anything wrong with paying a developer for all the hard work they put into developing apps? I can tell that you are one of those people in restaurants who never tips their server.
No comment on skype. I did install it, but I never used it. I dunno. Maybe because I just call using my iphone or my work phone or my landline. But yes, I do have skype and will try it out one of these days. Obviously, it's not that important to some people like me.
As for web browsing. Why would I need another one? Safari is one of the best web browsers. You said limited? I don't get you. I have no problems web browsing with my iphone at all.
I really doubt if you enjoy full flash videos on your Nokia phone. I remember my N95 was disappointing. Also, we do have YouTube on our iphone. Flash is impractical and would just drain the battery. A phone is better off with out it.
Well that's good that Nokia let's you download several browsers. I guess Nokia needs several browsers for it to work well, lol. We only need Safari and it works just fine =) I don't see the need to have several browsers unless the browser that came with your phone is incapacitated, lol.
If Nokia users can install any applications, so can iphone users. And we have 30,000+ apps available for us, all in one convenient, SAFE and TRUSTED place.
We're already enjoying our iphones even with some missing features. But yes, we will enjoy it more comes 3.0 OS release =) Iphone's truly a winner =)

guys 245 comments. I didn't read even one. Mac is always disappointing me with it's phones. Here in South Africa the iphone was late and when it was finally here I was so disappointed by it's high price for a midrange phone.

But I don't really care even if they upped it to 8mp. You know why? Unlike some people like you, I prefer taking photos and videos using my digital camera. No camera phone can match the quality of digital cameras. For random unimportant photos, the iphone's camera would suffice. It's funny that you already gave up your digital camera for the Omnia HD that is not even out, lol. What a smart move, lol. Oh well, good luck =)

What's gimmicky are those other devices pretending to be something big on paper but do not deliver the goods. Iphone speakers are fine unless you are hearing impaired. The iphone does give you full internet experience. I could visit any site I want without having to view the sites' mobile version. Flash does not equal web browsing. Again, we have digital cameras to do video recording for us. Removing batteries is not a part of iphone users daily routine. Leave that to Symbian and Winmo devices. BT file transfer is not a big deal, but we'll have that feature on 3.0 OS anyway, same with tethering. The iphone, nor any other device, will ever have every feature out there. You are very unreasonable.

iPhone is just a gimmick with call facility thrown in.
It has worse speakers, limited use of its interface other than eye candy.
Doesnt support flash videos (while apple advertisement says it support full internet experience, ha!)
No video recording, no flash, no video editing, no battery change, no bluetooth file transer, no tethering with PC....no this, and no that... and what a piece of crap...this iPhone is.

The iphone does give you true web browsing experience because it renders web pages as it does on a computer and can visit any websites. Web browsing does not = flash. I remember with my N95, I subscribed a data plan, and it did not allow me to visit some sites or pay my bills and do transactions. With the iphone, you can. I believe that the N95 only has QVGA and the iphone has HVGA, so how can the N95 have better resolution? Also, let's say that the N95 has better resolution than the iphone, you tube videos look vague on the N95 and looks clear on the iphone, plus the iphone has a bigger screen as well, but hey, if you think that web browsing is better on a 2.8 screen, suit yourself =)

Many of the apps on the app store ARE free, and they make you pay for some of them because the developers want something in return for putting time into it. How would you feel if you spend months making an application only to have ppl get it for free? Thats very selfish of you to say something like that. How is Iphone skype limited? No videocalling? Thats a stupid reason to say its limited... videocalling is probably the least used feature on every mobile phone.
The only reason you say Iphone is for "teens and teen wanabes" is because it appeals to people from all age groups as a great phone. An N95 in the hands of a highschooler wouldn't look right, also because its a MONSTER of a phone... But I've seen PLENTY of older business men with Iphones doing everything they need to do including editing saving and emailing word, excel, and power point, among other things. Face it, Iphone can do just about everything other high end phones can do, but better because of its near-perfect interface and snappy-ness. The Iphone is on a completely different level from every other phone, and other phones are still trying to beat it on specs alone.
With the release of OS 3.0, fewer people will need jailbreaking to do things they want. Apple listens to the people and it delivers in more ways than we could imagine. You criticize it for waiting so long to deliver things like MMS and copy paste? I'd rather wait a little while than get it earlier but filled with bugs and glitches and freezing up, like the Nokia 5800, the supposed "Iphone killer".
Honestly, I never felt the Iphone was "lacking" anything. 3.0 is like a gift from santa claus in that its stuff thats useful, but that I've been easily able to live without. I had an N75 a while ago with better "specs" and camera options and symbian OS, but it was the most useless piece of crap I've ever had. It's "multitasking" consisted of opening another app, only to have it crash, and then to have the FIRST app crash due to lack of memory (RAM). Applications for the Iphone are built MUCH better, and the reason the apps for Iphone (both paid AND free) are such good quality, is that it goes through apple first. 97% of apps are admitted after a few days of having submitted it, so stop your whining. If you want it to be free, it'll be free, but it has to be a good app, not garbage like most symbian apps and NOT a virus, like many symbian "apps". It's a matter of quality control, not totalitarianism, as you are so quick to assume.

3.2 megapixel camera ? hahaha is this a joke what a piece of junk i have that on my 3 year old nokia which i can record video hahaha how about an 8 megapixel camera and some HD video recording ? i already abandoned my fujifilm 8 megapixel digital camera and samsung my video camcorder as i will buy the Samsung Omnia HD which i don't need to carry them anymore since i can use 1 device for everything

A serious person who really needs a great mobile phone which really does work will never buy yPhone.
yPhone for teens with teeth braces and adults who are teen wannabes.
If you want to enjoy all the features of yPhone, you have to jailbreak it. Why? isnt this a stupid idea? Bravo to Apple.
You want to use the apple store for the application? you need to have a credit card. As most of them are not free.
You want to use skype on yphone? you can but as its apple, most of the skype features are disabled.
You want to use another browser? Well you cant as apple says to its developers, you cannot make a browser for yPhone, so you apple fan boys are stuck with the crappy safari (the most limited browser ever built).
While we enjoy full flash videos (Youtube etc. ) on our phones, your dorky steve jobs says flash is not possible on the phones. Yeah right!
Nokia users can downlaod the best browsers on the market (for free) like Opera, Skyfire (Full Flash Videos), UCweb, Teashark. While yPhone fanboys are stuck with one crappy browser.
Nokia users can download and install any application they want, any developer can make any software for Nokia and others but yPhone developers have to go through steve jobs pockets to get the permission for their applications.
So yphone owners, enjoy your copy and paste + MMS, oh i forgot, its not even available yet for yPhone....Losers!

iceman, 10 Apr 2009yeah, you are right, it seems like Apple doesn't really know what's going on out there at the ... morenumbers arent' everything. it is the quality of the image sensor that matters. I have seen plenty of 2mp sensors beat out 5 mp sensors. who cares how many pixels there are in an image if they are bad pixels.

Look at Nokia's NON camera centric ..their possibly the CRAPPEST Quality cameras iv ever seeen. 5310s camera is crap so is the 6300 becuase there NOT camera phones.
iPhones camera is Excellent for a 2MP.
