There is no other way to convey it. Most people who buy the iphone are kids. You don't think there are 18 million kids out there who would rather sign a 3 year contract for a cheap phone than to fork over $600 for an Nseries? It's all about marketing, and an iphone is an ipod touch which is popular. Again, the iphone is an ipod, that can make a call. It can't even send simultaneous sms. Shows Apple's experience with phones.
The marketing strategy is simple. 200$ for an ipod "phone". 3 year contract up front in the fine print. Result: millions of kids flocking to sign onto this rip off of a scheme.
The part about the navigation is completely false. I have never heard that in any event and there are millions of N95 users out there, not to name countless numbers of other Nseries devices which use Nokia maps. Slow? Dual CPU 332mhz is the fastest out there. Don't even go there and the iphone isn't even close.
you don't travel; most people do. I have an N82. It has xenon flash. But an LED flash is better than nothing on the iphone.
stereo headphones are for the ringtones. Sorry, i guess your iphone is inferior.
Opening applications faster than the N95 is also complete BS. My friend has an iphone.
over 30,000 games? you think Nokia is only limited to N-gage. you know nothing about phones. Symbian offers everything out there. i suggest you use google.
removing the sim while operating the phone is the weakest arguement ever.
By the way, it's called Resco Photo Viewer. Zooms faster than you can blink.

People buy the iphone so that they don't need to buy the ipod touch. The ipod touch are for those people who do not want to get tied with AT&T or to whichever carrier. And yes, it is all about what features you prioritize when deciding which phone to buy. No matter how great your marketing strategy is, if your product does not deliver, it will not sell.
The iphone is a great phone whether you are a fan or not. You are too stupid to even judge the iphone =)
Nokia phones are alright. I used to have one, but the iphone is just better for me and my needs. I do remember the N95 having voice navigation. I also remember it being very slow. We already passed the street after it told us to make a turn, lol. Personally, I don't use any phone's gps because my BMW has one. I did use my iphone's gps though several times when I was riding in my friend's car, and it was pretty accurate and fast in giving directions and it located our position spot on w/out lag. What good is a full voice navigation feature when the OS is not powerful enough to execute it accurately? As for the camera, thanks but no thanks to the N95 for I still ended up using my Canon camera. The N95 doesn't have xenon flash mister, so you are wrong in generalizing that the Nseries does. Stereo speakers? LOL. Really now, on a phone? I would say that's revolutionary if it sounds half as good as my car stereo sound. Is that how you listen to music from your phone? Through its puny stereo speakers? LOL. Wow. The Nseries has dual CPU? Wow, but how come the iphone pulls up photos faster? How come the iphone opens apps faster? How come the iphone beats any Nseries in web browsing? Wow, that dual CPU spec looks impressive, if only it can perform as impressive =) Ngage? Wow, how many apps does your Ngage platform has now? The iphone already has over 30,000. And how big is the display for the Nseries? 2.8? LOL. How convenient is that. lol. Oh and it's also plastic while the iphone has a glass display. Wanna see which phone flips through photos faster? Wanna see which phone zooms photos in and out faster? Can you keep your Nseries phone operating while you remove the sim card? Where do you go for downloading of high quality songs and music videos? Looks like your Nseries is quite the boring phone =)

who cares if there putting so called new features in the phone it should have had them from the beginning
and the fact t hat the update doesnt even have full support for the older phone is BS nothing diffrenet from the iphone 2g to 3g
so why not the full features 3g will be getting

What i am basically saying is that the iPhone is twice as expensive as it's rival handsets. If for example Nokia made the 5800 Xpressmusic a 700-800 dollar phone like the iPhone 3G instead off 250-300 dollar phone then the designers att Nokia would obviously have much better material to work with, make is sleeker, better looking, more exclusive and with much better OS. I can't believe that iPhone owners are actually comparing an 700 dollar iPhone with midrange 300 dollar Nokia phone just to come out on top, i quite sure the Nokia 5800 designers are not on the same final product budget as the iPhone 3G designers. If you compare Italian and British cars, it's like putting a Ferrari in the same comarison class as a Mini Cooper, why don't you compare the Ferrari with a Aston Martin instead? It's kinda sad that alot of iPhone users compare with phones that cost less then half the price of an iPhone and still find it hard to win sometimes.

Click to ZoomOne of the features that differentiates the iPhone from other similar smartphones is that it happens to have a multitouch display. As it turns out, Apple may not have the rights to use that technology at all.
Elan Microelectronics of Taiwan has been in discussion with Cupertino for the last two years, working to come to some sort of amicable agreement over the use of the multitouch technology. Well, it seems that these talks have broken down and Elan is prepared to head to the courts for retribution.
A short while ago, Elan came to a cross-licensing agreement with Synaptics, another company that muddles around in the multitouch field. Given that partnership, Elan is facing off against Apple with a little bit of extra steam. Elan feels that it has a "unique edge with this patent, and they want to send a signal to the market."
Elan has a patent on the use of a touchscreen with multitouch inputs, but it's been suffering quite a bit during this economic downturn. Maybe they're just looking to cash in on some of those patents they have, but if Apple is unjustly using the tech, Elan deserves its slice of the pie.

I have a iPhone 2G and i am very happy with the phone, i only feel sorry for the iSheep that fell for Apples obvious "making quick money one year after the original release scheme" and "uppgraded" for no reason whatsoever. What Apple will minimally inovate in their iPhones til 2012 is cause they have the "homer brainless have to fit socially market", so they can basically change nothing on the next iPhone, making the home button a booger bigger and still sell as the new iPhone and the iSheep will be like crazy on it. You cannot compare Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic with the iPhone, causs the Nokia 5800 Xpressmucic costs less the half the price of a iPhone 3G but still has three times the spec sheet. Tell Nokia that they can make a touch screen music and internet phone for 750 dollars with a 2mp camera, no video, no stereo buluetooth or transfer, no copy and paste, no flash support etc and Nokia will give the best phone in the world in carbon fiber and aliminium. Don't forget what price group the Nokia 5800 Expressmusic or other Samsung phones are in before you comapre it to the expensive iPhone. My brother in law that works at Samsung told me that if Samsung managment told them to make a touchphone in the 700-800 dollar range without any heavy specs like the iPhone then Samsung would produce the best freakin touchphone you can find, so when comparing any Phone with the iPhone, don't forget what pricerange the iPhone is in compared to the supposedely rival tochscreen devices like the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic, i am iPhone 2G user, and i am just being realistic, the iPhone 3G don't give you even close to your moneys worth compared to other brands.

It was a defective device. So she returned it and got sent another one. And again it was defective. So she promised not to buy Nokia products again ever. She has the iphone now and she said that it's the best device ever =)
