Z2 Ultra likely to be released sometime this month with Z3 in October/November time but unlikely to match LG's G3 unless they stop waterproofing and increase their flagship to phablet size with QHD resolution.
How about a phone that can compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ?
A is For Atom, 02 Jun 2014funny that i was not selling excuse. that portable charger won't increase the sealed batterie'... moreVery wrong, a battery should not go much below 40%, as a deep discharge causes enormous damages, and the same does full charge. With a power bank we can top up the battery a little whenever it reaches 40%, fill it to lets say 60%, that can make the battery live 20 times longer. A removable battery plus a spare otoh will almost always be fully discharged and fully charged, this full cycle usage is the worst thing that can happen to a li-ion or li-po battery. Never let your phone run low on battery, ever, if you have no chance to charge once it goes much below 40% you should turn it off.

i've been using 2 sony phones by now. I replaced none due to battery issues. It simply went on and on for 3,5 years. At that point, it was almost as good as new. So why change it???? I don't know if that's a good value, but i know i'll change my phone loooong before my sony battery will have run out of juice

Why do they keep pushing out devices that have minor upgrades compared to their predecessors? I really hope this device has something significantly new and impressive about it. And the VAIO PCs section is going to end or be sold....so sad.
Next 'big thing'? Sounds more like a burn to Samsung since they also used that phrase in their ads.
user removable battery please. it's the only real advantage that samsung has over sony and htc. there must be a lot of people bought samsung phones only because they had user removable batteries.
Now this is going to be magnificent. I do hope for:
- 3GB RAM (most likely, given the Z2, this will be the case)
- smaller bezels (please, sony, please, those are not bezels are.... thumbpads...)
- 6 inches or a tad more :)
... and I'll sell my Z in an instant
please sony please if this is the xperia z2 ultra
-bigger battery at least 4000mah
-more compact body
-keep the 6.4 inch screen size
-possibly snapdragon 805
AnonD-183132, 02 Jun 2014seriously, have u ever check the Z2 display? Some People are just not up to date at all. Just becuase the Z didn't have a great display, it seems some have made it a rule that no display afer could be good either. Even though they are properly great.
