Anonymous, 03 Jun 2014so the millions of people who bought the GS5 who sees nothing wrong with the design means what... moreAgreed.
I don't even know what people with the exception of LG groupies see on the G3. The front looks weird, like 2 different devices merged together. Upper part is one device, lower is another.
Horrible update experience with Galaxy S3.No Samsung Again.Gonna change my GS3 to LG G3...
AnonD-163890, 03 Jun 2014g2 did as well against the gs4 and yet still sold horrible around the world. And another thing is that LG has their own carrier network in Korea, lots and lots of LGs sold there are sim locked and sold on contract. So these numbers are not good for predicting international sales, though im sure it will sell better than G2 did, G2 failed much because of the lack of card slot and no availability of the 32GB version in many targeted markets (for example Philippines was very heavily targeted with G2 promotion but no one in Philippines ever saw a 32GB G2 in the store)
since LG released LG G2, no more Samsung
LG G2 better than Samsung S5
AnonD-215925, 03 Jun 2014omg :D 4k display on phone is totally useless and nonsense, phone isnot a TV -_- 1080p is far ... moreDepends on size, the 6.44 inch Xperia Z Ultra stretched 1080 resolution very thin, even the relatively small Note 3 wasnt up to the mark of most other 1080 devices, small fonts clearly suffered.
Maybe you need to read the LG G3 review again, the difference between G Pro 2 and G3 is surprisingly big, 1080 on a ~6 inch display just doesnt cut it for people with ok vision. For someone with 20/20 it will be good but then we have to keep in mind what is 20/20 vision, its a pretty bad vision that most people will not reach before they are between 60 and 70 years old, it means your lenses are so hardened by age that you are unable to focus on distances close enough to read a smartphone display, most people with 20/20 are so old that they cannot use a smartphone without reading glasses anyway, these people are clearly not the number one audience for G3.
I had a Samsung and always have liked Samsung, but when I became available to upgrade I just didn't find the S5 massively worth upgrading to, apart from some health features and other fancy gimmicks (which when I played about with one didn't work too well) I decided to go to HTC. But I was considering LG. I'm going to give them another couple of year but LG are certainly a company to look at and take seriously, watch this space is all I'll say because Samsung, Apple, HTC and Sony might find they are underestimating LG.
g2 did as well against the gs4 and yet still sold horrible around the world.
Congrats LG ... good work.
Maybe in the near future, hoping LG decides to use WebOS or Meego OS in some of their lineup.
Lg make a good phone, im an apple fans, but for the design, the g3 (and g2) r beautifull, i like apple software but lg make a good hardware
LG G3 is really cool the design. Samsung S5 design is HORRIBLE. But samsung has more innovations on hardware level. I like both.
It's fair to the market. It's better to have the other main flagships as G3, Z2 and One selling well. The problem is that people don't help.
Anonymous, 03 Jun 2014then remember your words and don't buy any phone over 1080p in your lifescreen is not that main thing -_- yes FHD is far enough but if other spec will be awesome why not buy? ur words are nonsense for me, dont stick ur nose what i buy or not, absolutly no need for QHD screen now but when Snap810 or 805 comes ill buy if it will have even UHD screen so... lets continue ur way n dont stick when not needed !
"Here's hoping that the LG G3 enjoys similar success outside of its home market. LG has been on somewhat of row, producing some splendid smartphones over the past two years and it's a real shame they haven't even came close to achieving their market potential."
Well if they released their G Pro series to more countries then they definitely would, I'm still waiting for the EU model of the G Pro 2. I may have to get this instead, that'f if they release the 3GB/32GB version in UK
