From Mumbai Nexus 5 user: i have disabled , reboot, re enabled cleard cache on my Nexus 5, however there is not notification on the kitkat update.
Does it come instantaneously.
Yay. It bricked my Nexus 4; took a few hours to recover the device and everything's lost. Exercise caution, I'd recommend swapping back to Dalvik, taking a backup before if you can (I didn't because it wasn't rooted thanks to my bank being jerks) and then brace yourself.
