In the original Russian article it says that the battery is not removable. It's an obvious Google Translate error.

it's not impossible, the previous HTC One (M7) has non-removable battery and unibody design, but the Dual SIM version (HTC 802) has removable back cover.

I don't think that is a translation error...because the last model htc one (M7) dual sim had a removable back cover despite the single sim model

Russian is my native language, so I can confirm that the part about battery being removable is indeed a translation error, it is listed as non-removable in the original article. Also, specs listed are from regular M8, later in the article it is stated that no info on dual sim version specs was available.
