What? Another one? Samsung really doesn't know what they're doing. I mean, how many phones does it take? No wonder the iphone is leading the race. Just 1 phone a year is all it takes for Apple (hardware), and the rest of the year are just firmware updates, available for all iphone versions (not just the new one), to improve the OS and add features, NOT A DOZEN PHONES, hahahahaha.

Staska, 14 Apr 2009Sorry guys, but this time Google Czech failed you. Samsung S8000 IS NOT and Android phone.... moreI would agree with Staska's comment. Android is not capable of supporting a AMOLED Screen with 16M colors. This clearly proves, it ain't Android but definitely S60 5th Edition or TouchWiz

Too much money for these specs... yes it's new phone, but still. should be below 400e for succesfull sales.

Sorry guys, but this time Google Czech failed you.

Samsung S8000 IS NOT and Android phone. The text of the article actually says "...this could have been the first Samsung Android phone. However, most likely, it runs on an upgraded TouchWiz..." Which is also not exactly true.

Samsung S8000 is a featurephone with the native Samsung OS and next gen TouchWiz interface codenamed "Cubic". The "Cubic" interface will be ported to all Samsung platforms, including Symbian, WM and Android, just as the original TouchWiz was.

I LOVE Samsung but sometimes i wonder if the person who give the prices for its products is human or alien.

Really good phone. BUT, to be honest a phone with 5 megapixels, 3inches, not smartphone and wifi doesnt cost so much. Same price as Pixon, which Pixon is a bit better. i wouldnt give for this up to 300-350 euros.

Features are excellent but the design isn't anything special- it's just another korean touchscreen mobile
