mehhhhhhh ... yawn. Didn't we see this 2-3 years ago on some other devices :)

Yes the feauture is a copy or inspired by Windows RT call it whatever you want it is copying the idea from them . But what irks me that these hypocritical people say that they will use IPhone when it has this kind of feature and once it is hinted they fly to poke fun at Apple. People easily forget that every modern smartphone is a copy of the original IPhone to begin with.

As u have alluded to, a marketing and fashion company selling repackaged electronics that others invented is far more superior and valuable than the inventors and innovators themselves.
Would not be surprised if their willful ignorance and bashing/trashing have eventually led to the downfall of true innovators like Motorola...
Well, u can't argue with people who desparately hang on to and fight for 200 dollar phone for self-esteem...

After Steve Jobs past away, apple just like a little kid. Monkey see monkey do. instead learn the good from other people but apple was stealing from other copy exact. So Ashamed for apple. Always behind other company

It's simply an indication that general public is sick and tired of ruthless and hypocritical hard core Apple fans and shills trashing and accusing competitors constantly as cheap and copycats when Apple clearly is the biggest copycat of them all selling. Split screen and iOS 8 is another clear indication of that.
These ridiculous fanboy wars are still going on? This is truly sad that a bunch of adults are fighting over something so insignificant. If you don't like a certain product, don't buy it.
LOL at apple. Steve will be calling.
It's OK to copy stuff from other company, but not be arrogant about it and don't own it calling it innovation.
funny how these people react about ios8 copying a feature of samsung. then tell me what the hell is that fingerprint scanning by iphone5s that samsung copied? first of all, samsung copied iphone features. they shouldnt feel bitter because apple ia copying them . its just a dose of their medicine. and besides, immitation is the best form of flattery. right androidiots??
WoW new on ios? I had done it on android since my first gal note 10.1 edition and my LGOG.
didnt some android apps and iphone do similar stuff already, heck didnt that i think dell with 2 screens have ability to have different apps on each screen, still nothing new might be good for games though
It's funny that you fanboy idiots keep bashing Samsung for copying etc, when all you ever do is look at the mobile section of Samsung. Samsung is an electronics giant, a company which leads in innovations in electronics as a whole. What does Apple do? Use other people's innovations to create smartphones that always look the same? Even Apple computers just bear the Apple logo and their Operating system, the innovation and technology behind them is not theirs.

Does no one here know anything about business?
Stondec100, 10 Jun 2014Apple had been very aggressive at coping Android and Samsung. Apple is the real copycat companyHow is implementing a feature that's been on PCs and Macs for years copying? Alot of the big features that have taken off in smartphones are just pale versions of what happened in other industries before.
