Saurav Ghosh, 16 Jun 2014I don't understand! Oppo? A brand coming from nowhere, releases a phone, asking 400 bucks for ... moreAs always there are two classes of people:
- "Connoisseurs" who actually know Oppo (which by the way isn't a company that just come to happen overnight), how good they really are and what a deal we are getting with this version built for Cyanogen Inc.
- Then there's everyone else... those who lacked the market knowledge evaluate this deal and will only realize that when it's too late (read when the brand is established worldwide and starts charging the same as a Samsung or Sony -- with people happily buying it since they are that good).
[deleted post]There's no need to say that. It' an universal truth. Perfect to attract kids.
Acey K, 16 Jun 2014The brand name is OnePlus. Look it upYeah, OnePlus, so? Just because they have a website that's a trusted brand?
Still better than the Nexus 5, the Z2 (maybe) definitely better than the s5 and the HTC One m8 once again maybe
I think HTC has done it again. 2nd year in a row. Hope they threepeat (something the Miami Heat didn't do lately :P )
I don't understand! Oppo? A brand coming from nowhere, releases a phone, asking 400 bucks for it, and kids are thinking about buying it. WOW. I appreciate that they (Oppo) are trying to establish that other phones are overvalued but at least they have already established themselves in market, would you have bought a Samsung if it were not Samsung or Sony if it were not Sony?
For time being, I think it's perfectly okay to settle something less.
Maybe when they expand, they'll be alot more precise.
It's a new attempt, I think it's going to be worth it.
GSMARENA? WHEN WILL YOU GET YOUR HANDS ON ONE OF THESE? PLEASE REVIEW ONE SOOOON.
Too late. Who cares? Too much hype, paired with horrible marketing is a sure way for folks to lose interest punitively.
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2014just got mine from Oppomart, works like a charm!!OnePlus One - 16GB/64GB? IT IS 399$ FOR THE 16gb? or the 64gb model?
Wtf? Too late for the launch. And why they didnt tell that they are going to launch 2 devices with different UI in the first place and then suddenly you will have to pay on a higher price now rather than $299 they said before. Sounds like a bogus to me. Dude, beware of these chinese products! They are cheap and full of crap!
