The s500 is a slider - in repair manuals it's very similar to the w580. The phone that's in the pictures is an s710. Another such swivel phone was the s700, and w600. The w600 was pretty weak in the fact that it has a much smaller screen and the dang memory card slot was behind the battery cover. At least with the s710 it was on the outside of the phone :D (but sucked it took a max of 128mb :( )

Most having this false syndrome of 'Made in China'. Frankly most of the things are manufacturing in China. Even though your using 'Made in Japan' stuff, inside there can be 'Made in China stuff'. Main reason is less cost of production. By solely manufacturing in Sweden or Japan (or Finland), companies won't be able to make good profits.

Chinese ones has da same quality as phones made in original country. When your manufacturing to export, there are many strict standards to adhere. So it's a false idea, that 'Made in China' is bad.
