just relax because Sony Ericsson wants to become the strongest manufacturer in the world so they test their new phones in Japan first than they release a new model of it in other areas. e.x SE first wants to try AMOLED and some new features in a "prototype" like SE S001 if we can call it a prototype and than they will bring it out.

SE is going through tough times but they have a good schedual to recover and don't forget that noone becomes real succesful if you don't fail first. They had their warning call and they will come back more strong than ever. People have to realize that a reconstruction of a company doesn't happen overnight and a good planning needs time to show results. As they announced, they are expecting full recovery in 1+ year from now.
To me it is the most capable innovative cellphone company, and I am sure they will strike back like the old good times. Trust me on this.

Sony Ericsson Need :
1. Focus on Smartphone. Smart OS [Symbian] + Cybershot + Walkman + Good Design + Full or Half QWERTY = Awasome.
2. Stop make much non smartphone.
3. Make Friendship with much developer to support their Symbian Smartphone.
4. Respect customer much Symbian UIQ customer now hate SE

Just open your eyes and look, they have released many phones with big screens, stereo speakers and better video recording in Japan so far. They just won't do it. Look at W995 with its outdated QVGA 2.6" display. Even 2006 Japanese SE phones have much better and bigger screens.
