AnonD-277589, 26 Jun 2014Android 5 is LimePie, google use alphabets to update the versions.. E-Eclair, F-Froyo, then G ... moreThat just blew my mind....
HTC was the first to popularize Android with the Sense UI. Keep up the good work.
Good move HTC..besides the rumored HTC tablet, I am hoping the Nexus 6 if there will be one..will be made by HTC.
OR I am hoping there is a One M8 Prime in the oven sans the derided logo bar and w/a beefed up removable battery 3000+mAh, 3GB RAM, 32/64GB int storage plus 128GB SD card, QSD 805, 16+MP rear cam, slimmed down BoomSound speakers. Either said device should be a GPe One M8 Prime or it will be part of the Rumored Android Silver line up.

AnonD-204006, 26 Jun 201490 days. For Google versions it could be the difference between 5.0 and 5.0.2 5.0.x would be minor release, mostly for security pathces, which google said would now be delivered through google play services updates meaning that every device will get it without updating the OS version. So that won`t be a problem. And waiting 90 days compared to the actual waiting period for anything else but the nexus line is a pretty short time period.

I'm least worried about the Android updates for my M7, anyway most of the features will be limited by the manufacturer themselves, unless I'm a Nexus user. What matters to me is the UI updates from HTC, they should be never ending ;)
Well We have some Samsung Galaxys in the family and I recently get an Nexus 5 and believeme the experience is totally different from one an another.
In fact, I didnt experience for now any single hic cup or slowdown or delay of any kind. Not a single reebot, froze, crash or app error.
Im amazed of how an Android phone works with a simple and clean OS, the S4 and S5 of my friends and Family feels slow and bloated, totally heavy even on start up and shut down.
Once you get an Nexus everything looks fat and sluggish. Maybe Sense, TouchWiz, LG Optimus UI and so on looks nice and have a lots of goodies, BUT that goodies are the ones that make the OS slow and heavy.
Nexus 5 Stock ROM is only 420 MB and tkes almost nothing from the phone, besides TW that takes more than 1.5 GB in zip file and in the phone takes almos 3 times the size of the Nexus 5 OS, also the benefit of have 4.4.4 first is a nice touch.....
Great news, HTC, please bring us HTC M8 model dual Sim without losing any of its current features.
Thanks.
Android L.... look like 5.0 Lollipop on the way...
