I've had a play with the Star Trek 5800, No Phaser App loaded and no pre-loaded ringtones/etc.
Bit of a disappointment really, you have to download all the ringtones and pics, and even then they're a bit lame.

If you want to buy Nokia phone double check the Camera quality first. Sony ericsson's 2 Megapixel camera phones are great quality than Nokia 5800(this is 3.2 Megapixel). Also N73 sound quality is better than 5800.

I used to loke sonnyericson but my best now is Nokia because of OS on 5800.
Nokia ah, when are going to make affordable dual SIM phon. Africa really needs it. Most countries in Africa are not operator-based. please sit up.

Nokia has allowed themselves to sit on their ass and not do anything for the last two years, this is the result of this.
Since the N95 they did not release a single competitive mobile phone. Their phones are just the same old phones with new housings. With cheap housings that is.
And the 5800? We all know that it is a joke! Now the sales figures prove it to! 2 million units sold world wide!!!! That is a huge failure for the formal number one in the world. And no wonder, the 5800 is the worst phone ever made.
It is simple – Nokia is out of ideas, they were not doing any innovation in the last two years. And they really let their build quality to go down. All of their phones are just cheap plastic (except the 6300 which is a really good phone).
Face it Nokia – you are going down! Samsung will take you over with storm this year.
Pathetic… after two years they still do not have a single phone which can compare to the iPhone

Nokia can't even figure out how to charge their phones by USB.
Useless Apps?
The iPhone is a computer it runs unix based software, hospitals are using them to keep track of patient records, the US army is using them on the battlefield AND it's had a Star Trek phaser gun for 3 weeks now.

Mere Brand Name can't save Nokia for long.. their only touch phone 5800 lags as hell! Design of their all non-touch phones are SAME with ugly square navi key design which are pain to use as well..
I can predict Nokia's demise is near!

For statrers there is the 5800 then the is the N97 and functionality wize the E71 tops the iphone, OK if all u want is a phone full of useless apps then yeh the iphone is gr8.. but i do like to be able to forward a message and it has been known that some people like to send picture messages!!!! I have to admit it looks gr8 but software wize it lacks BIG time
