I would love to have the option to click off some of the filtered phones on the results page.
Let's say I am not seriously considering buying BlackBerry but I am intrigued by the BB Passport so I love to have it on my short list and lose all other Blackberry phones.
The same goes for other phones...
Some phones are simply not an option. I don't what them cluttering my results page which I could save or print and use it as a reference.
Hi. How about a tab for the aspect ratio. I know a lot of people are searching for tablets with 4:3 aspect ratio.
AnonD-264309, 09 Jul 2014For me, it's ugly! I like the previous more! Put an option to go back to the old search, please!I agree! Although it offers more options, but it looks ugly and more confusing, compared to the old one, which was one of the best search form I ever find in many websites.
And one option that I have asked them for a long time is still not there: battery removable or not.
As for the network, it might be better to select from country names instead of network band types.
Search is now more powerful and that is good except...
1. The layout is terrible! It is blocky, has bloated font size and occupies too much space for what it's worth.
2. This new interface is unusable on some mobile browsers (e.g. Opera Mini)
screen size definitely need more options, we are jumping 0.5 inch, which adds a whole lot of phones between 4 and 6"
i like the old one, pls bring it back. new one isnot user friendly, too wide!
You to put CPU and GPU and Removable/Non-Removable Battery on Search PLss!! It Will Improve The Search Option
Could you add "removeable" battery in the choices under batteries? Thanks!
Why people destroy something what works very good ?
I think we lost a little on functionality, the number of different options.
The perfect is the enemy of the good...
The sliders are a pain to use, especially on a phone screen, even my 5.3 inch screen. There's also a 20 mm gap in the sizes between the phones and the tablets. Get rid of the separate tabs for phones and tablets. Replace the sliders with fields to enter exact sizes - don't go back to restrictive drop-down lists. Height and width are confusing terms when devices can be used in portrait and/or landscape orientation, and sometimes your database has pixel details like 1280 x 800, and might have 800 x 1280 for other devices, so which is height and which is width? Under both phones and tablets you seem to be assuming portrait orientation going by the available size values. Use something like "Longer Side" and "Shorter Side" rather than "Height" and "Width" to avoid confusion, and in your search program, match longer side based on whichever is the greater value for size or pixel numbers independent of the order they're listed in your database. Thus 1280 x 800 pixel is the same as 800 x 1280 pixels, 170 x 90 x 10 mm is the same as 90 x 170 x 10 mm.
You still need to add more options for the Operating System.
I don't see BlackBerry OS, BB10, Web OS, Palm OS, Windows Mobile, FireFox, and Danger OS..
Please work on this
I found the search at top right good enough for me. This search tool seems too complex.
For those of you asking for a single SIM option -- is it really so hard to realize that what you need is NOT to select any multi-SIM options?
Few things which can be added
single sim option in filter
2300Mhz band in 4g
Firefox and Jolla in OS
I see it's been well tested ?. Who cares what the people who will actually use the database search tool think ?, obviously opinions and usability are not important, but flashy interfaces are.
