For those of you asking for a single SIM option -- is it really so hard to realize that what you need is NOT to select any multi-SIM options?
Few things which can be added
single sim option in filter
2300Mhz band in 4g
Firefox and Jolla in OS
I see it's been well tested ?. Who cares what the people who will actually use the database search tool think ?, obviously opinions and usability are not important, but flashy interfaces are.
For me, it's ugly! I like the previous more! Put an option to go back to the old search, please!
you should have just made it powerful. now it is not at all user friendly. you check it out using it on opera mini browser, its pathetic. compare the previous version of search tool on same browser, it was so smooth and easy.
plz don't change the user interface, just make it more powerful .
I suggest you to change screen size option and replace it to be entered manually because most sizes are missing i.e (4.2, 4.3, 4.7, 4.8, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.7, 5.9) so people can choose exact size. Also add an option to dual sim either standby or active.
- update the pixel density (currently SGS5 LTE-A ~576)
- update windows phone version to 8.1
- update bluetooth version to 4.1 as it's in OnePlus One
- add an option for the secondary camera video quality
- add an option for display protection "gorilla glass"
- add an option for USB version, USB OTG, USB Host
I have a Galaxy Note and using Dolphin browser. None of the the body or display size fields allow any input nor do any drop-down lists appear, nor do they tell me what units are wanted or going to be suggested (eg inches, mm, pixels).
I think most times people will want to specify a screen size range or body size range anyway as specific parameters, so why put so-called "phones" & "tablets" in 2 separate categories based on screen size. If you divide them based on whether they can be used for (1): calls through traditional phone companies (mobile call capable), (2): internet calls only (built-in microphone & speaker), and (3): internet calls only via accessories (via headphone/microphone jack, usb, etc), that might make some sense. But I think it would be better to just allow people to specify their requirements in the search parameters. At the moment, with this new method, if you want mobile phone capability with a screen around 7 inches, you can't get just one list of everything matching your needs between 6 & 8 inches display size. I prefer being able to specify the sizes I want for screen and body size rather than a restricted drop-down list of sizes/pixels.
Your previous search tool worked flawlessly on old browsers like Opera Mini. Your new search tool doesn't work at all. Farewell. I'm afraid that you've just lost a reader.
Fantastic. Well done GSMARENA. How about a section for Laptops?
Yo, GSMArena! It would be nice to see a ranking list in still image quality and video recording quality of the phones you guys review.
It would be useful if there was an option to select if the battery is removable or not
But the link to phone finder is still hard to find
Very nice
Thank you gsmarena....... for using my favourite phones N8 and 808 in the picture!
Ivan, 09 Jul 2014"anything under 7" stay at the Phones tab " - this is valid for now. When the 1... moreThere's already a 7" phone released. At least in Korea. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_w-6404.php
This is what I've been missing!
I have a problem: the former version of the phone finder had an option "without camera" among the camera options. But the new version hasn't this. How can I found easily all mobile phones (or tablets), which haven't camera? Why isn't there an option "without camera", like was by yesterday?
"anything under 7" stay at the Phones tab " - this is valid for now. When the 1st "phone" will be released with display over 7" (soon!) then you will have to rethink your searchengine. Phones are getting bigger everyday, and I find it stupid.
Gsm Arena getting better everytime #dope
